Perhaps it was the SAS that attracted you to Blackburn (Shearer & Sutton) - or was that before your time.

Is this a match thread, or confession time!..................... <laugh>

Anyway we need to tightly mark Samba and Yak! So Williams had better be on top of his game today! 2-1 to Swansea............

I can understand fans plumping for teams in the top divisions when you're a kid and the Swans were wallowing in the depths. No shame in that. My 'second team' is Newcastle because Grandad was a Geordie. Great to see them doing so well this season. But I'd never support them ahead of the Swans and never will. (NJ take note <laugh> )

Fancy a reaction from our players today. Swans win 2-0.

    I hope.

    {EDIT: Good job on the thread JA. Didn't know you had it in you!}

Phil, Samba left Blackburn in January to some Russian team !! Have you been on the shandy already ? Your right about Yakubu though, we better defend set pieces better than we did up there.

Dont know about that Cherry. Rovers were really playing like a mediocre Championship team, and we still had too many instances of sloppiness and poor quality on crosses and the like . We did enough to win. "Fulham" form against Rovers would have torn them apart.

Lita came on and in a couple of minutes put in a good turn and shot. More than Graham, who still seems to deliver less than he should around goal.

Good news is that we're safe for next season. BR can now start his planning. What remains to be determined is how much money he will have in his budget and that rests on final position.

well done lads, thats a relief! time to take up my early bird discount on the cable tv subscription and time for BR to start seriously scouting for a striker.

PS: Is Siggy our Striker?? Hell it's a good job Rodgers brought him in, otherwise his 1 Million Bonus would have gone up in smoke!............ <laugh>

Well done swans excellent result today, i think Blackburn failed to turn up but you can only play whats in front of you, they look like they have accepted relegation for some reason but thats their problem not ours !!

Gylfi adds yet more money onto his transfer value !!
DG still out of form had one tidy shot, worked hard lack of confidence meant he squared it for Dyer.

I think we are safe now, that is quite incredible considering the playing budget we have so well done to all at the club <ok>

Yeah, but at least we turned up this time - a win is better than a kick in the teeth. You're right though, now is the time to start planning, and BR needs to make sure the team isn't reliant on Super Siggy going into next season.

Too negative for me, Yankee. "Graham, who still seems to deliver less than he should around goal."

Apart from setting up Dyer for his goal and almost setting up another, holding the ball up and working his socks off. <doh>

JackAsh: "Can't have been down to Buck, hes an overachieving hero who gets us playing boring football and should be fired lol."

    Superb.

    Any comments, Dai? <whistle>

there we are just like i said, get into the oppositions half and we will win, simple wasn't it rodgers, all that rubbish of keeping the ball in our own half without any penetration was never going to work, I'm so glad that someone changed your mind or you realised yourself that we must play to our strengths..... there wont be many teams that will touch us for possession going forward, it was a pleasure watching players take on and beat the opposition again,,,,,now we can celebrate.........ps if you want anymore guidance dont hesitate to call..;)....well played swans, back to playing the right way........at long last...
