She sure does. She hated it long before she visited us lol. She only agreed to come with me as a date and to see the other side of my life.

I can believe it. He isnt good enough to officiate a PL match, so he must be good enough to officiate the 2nd tier matches. As if the matches are less important, or of a worse quality or something.

I dont think it did. But i will persuade her to visit again when its much warmer. Im sure we can win her over, even if just a little bit.

No!! Never!! If i can get her to one match and get her to take such an interest that she memorises the offside rule, there may be a chance

There's short arses, and there's our team. For our last team photo we had to find Gene Mannone a stool to sit on:

Seriously though, after our keeper Cooper (along with Fryatt) at 5'10" is likely to be the tallest player in the team. I'm not sure how tall King is, he might be taller than that, but either way he can play like someone who's 6'+ when he's upfront, but we stick him on the wing so it's not as useful.

The time wasting. To highlight the extent of it, it's the only time I've ever seen a team be so sick of it that when they score a winner they celebrate it by taking the piss out of the other team's timewasting by copying it exactly, right down to the CBs on the halfway line walking towards one side of the pitch when it was scored so that when they started walking to the scorer in the corner they had further to walk and it would waste more time. And if you notice I'm using the term walk, that's probably generous, ambling or strolling would be more applicable to the lack of speed.

I think my comments after the game to other City fans were that we didn't deserve to win the game, but that it was the most deserved last minute defeat any team had ever suffered for the anti-football tactics employed. And I've seen us managed by Dowie and Brown who named teams where there wasn't even a striker on the pitch for home games against bottom of the league sides.

Back to today's game though, when we do the Arsenal thing of passing it around for ever wihout going near your goal that's not time wasting to try to keep the lead or play for a 0-0. As you'll see if you take the lead that's just the extent of our creativity, especially if Koren is having a quiet game.

Watford and Hull City had some good battles in the 80's, remember the FA Cup battle that kept going to a replay, you had some decent talent back then Kenny Jacket, Malcolm Allen, McClelland to name a couple.
We've had a few Watford players play for City too, Richard Jobson( born in Cottingham Hull), Neil Williams, Steve Terry.

I'll go for Hull City to win 1-0

Well if thats the case this is going to be a poor match. Your players will no doubt fall over whenever our players out jump them and Dowd will cave and give a free kick every single time. Thats how Blackpool played and we all know what happened there.

    Surely a Sat Nav problem?

I like Nick Barmby and think he will do well with Hull City - his pre/post match interviews are generally worth a listen.

There will be no thread updating today as I have to be away until tomorrow.

I do not like being told things at the last minute.

Ah yes, the fantastic world of being a husband. Always on call for sudden changes or last minute family things that 'Mrs' has decided. Life would be dull without them

We sold a bit over 500 tickets and as it's pay-on-the-gate and we have a fair amount of southern exiles, I think there could be 7-800 hardy souls in attendance today.

And this is how we will line up...

    -------------Mannone
    Rosenior Chester Cooper Dawson
    -----------Evans Cairney
    King----------Koren-------Brady
    --------------Fryatt
