    You might be better having a few scoops around Paddington and then travelling up to the match. However, it will be fun watching the doormen trying to stop Reds and Blues from going into the same pub <laugh>

    Just read on another board that no pubs will be open around Wembley per match. Anyone know if that's true?

    pubs can only open half an hour after kick off and carry outs will be confiscated on the orders of the met.

    If you go by train then depending how early you leave Liverpool then get off at Watford Junction, have few, then catch the local overland/Bakerloo 6 stops to Wembely Central.

    That might be a good bet if you go by car as you can park, get a couple of pints and then take the train/tube down to the match.

    Soz dave i meant the pubs around or close to the ground like Green Man etc,as you say mate boozers around Euston,Victoria,Kings Cross and Paddington will be open early doors.
