When the season is finished in a few weeks, and for those of you who still work (mass old ****er board).. What's the plans for your allotted week or two break, or for those that don't work on the old Shipyard fortnight (see my dad taught me that) what's the plans? Someone must be going of somewhere nice, or giving their children a fantastic holiday (which is why we are here)... Ha'way someone must some one going somewhere or doing something? When i was younger,,,(not so long ago) it was Cyprus, Zante Corfu, Turkey and Portugal Algarve etc. But what does an average English family do for their holidays now? Is it still cheaper to go abroad for your hols rather than staying in the UK? Are you a UK lover *like my num and dad, and not just a BNP supporter,,,hi Mr W,) Basically what's your choice?........................................................if you can afford it after getting ****ed left right and centre by the gov.... Or has the gouverment ****ed you, and it;s batten the hatches....
No plans commo but I don't usually, a benefit of being retired I can go when I like. I tend to like the UK during the summer, weather OK and life is easy, look out for pre season friendlies, I go to the games in Scotland if any but it will be walks with Osca and just enjoying the sun. All that said I could easily drop Osca off at her down the road and jump on a plane on a last minute bargain, only problem is everywhere is full of those noisy things they call children.

But Syd, where can i go on holiday?...................maybe come and pay you ****ers a visit, just as long as the old BNP members on here are not around....
I have to start reading for dissertation which is due next year. 10-12000 words of pure hell. But I will be spending a month travelling around Eastern Europe with my gf. Should be a right laugh. Going to the Serbian Trumpet Festival. Hopefull going to sarajevo, Kosovo, Belgrade Budapest. See as much as we can really.
And blow as much as you can? Nah honestly mate that sounds class, don't watch the movie Hostel. This honestly sounds like a class holiday.......

I've just put in for a couple of weeks holiday in for August, but no plans made as yet..However, we will have a family break somewhere, but whether that will be in England or elsewhere I'm not sure...My wife is taking my two youngest (aged 10 and 11) to Florida early next year, so I'm putting some money away for that. However, that is my idea of holiday from hell so I will be giving that one a miss, so my wife will be going with her sister and niece instead.
Gonna do it as cheap as possible. Me and my GF know some people over there so we will have some cheap digs in some places. Gonna hitch hike and couch surf and all that stuff. Cant wait.

Strangest thing is..reading all these, amd maybe , just maybe i'll have a holiday back home, and eventually meet some of you scallywags (i could have said a lot worse there)..we'll see how this job pans out.........i don't have set holidays, or set anything come to that.
Probably would have went somewhere, but paypal have been a twat and limited my account a month or so ago and cant touch it for 6 months, lets just say I had enough in there for all of us to get to Florida, but no spending money. So now probably worgate at the furthest.
We've got flights booked for Bangkok, plan was to mince around a bit then see the Sunderland v Thailand game, which it turns out, isn't happening... In all likelyhood these will be cancelled and we'll go to the States for a few weeks Oct-Sep time instead. We do have the Euro's this year, of course...
