I wonder if its any coincidence since RHC's last thread on the LHC we're unbeaten in two. OUR SEASON STARTS HERE
I actually laughed at this **** me the stable beams have destabilised my normally good sense of humour
Did anyone understand that Brian Cox Night with The stars thing? Thanks to my dad, I love science, space travel, astronomy and all that. And my dad always used to say that all the ansewrs to the universe are inside the atom, and so forth. BUT - that quantum stuff where one electron moving here means all the others in the universe move too (that is what he said, isn't it? And if it happens instantly, surely that breaks the speed of light?) well.... if some quasi religious group stuffed a leaflet through your door with that on it as evidence of an afterlife you'd think they were cranks. Particle physicists say it as a mathematical equation with no physical evidence to back it up, and it's cutting edge science. Was confident about tomorrow - until I saw Jones flap at that ball with Yakubu - A draw and pens - could go either way. But worst case scenario and I'll still support the Shight at Wembley for the sake of many Bluenose mates and family. Not for the gobshites on here and Ja though -
The most important aspect of Einstein's work on relativity is the concept that all things are relative. Your big fonts are only big when compared to standard internet fonts but put those piddly things next to a billboard and they're tiny. Relativity, see? So now you understand Einstein a little better. *Little* relative to my understanding, that is.
