    Spot on Swamp.

Aswan - your response to Dai's insane ramblings has cheered me up no end. pmsl. <laugh>

As others have said, I don't care what QPR fans think based on one game. For whatever reason, Graham doesn't see enough of the ball but I strongly suspect that has little to do with him. Yakubu is a top striker but even he needs a constant flow of balls played up to him. Isn't the saying "Feed the Yak and he will score"?

Exactly. All I have done recently is defended DG, but apparently its his fault and not the supply.

you are on about high profile strikers that share goals with their team mates, we on the otherhand rely on his skill as a lone striker and im sorry if we are going to play with a lone striker then danny is not good enough,,,his record is there for all to see......he wont be our first choice striker next season i can guarantee it....

supply my arse , he gets the ball enough times during the game but cant do anything with it, a goal here and a goal there is no good for a lone striker, i said its not his fault its the system we play and danny cant play it he is useless at taking on and worrying the defenders like a lone striker is suppose to do. he cant lose his marker and is muscled of the ball with ease, he panics and when he does shoot its miles over the bar or so wide its unbelievable for a striker....and you want that..<laugh> do me a favour....

you can make all the excuses you like about danny not getting the ball, it just an excuse, why would brendan pick him if he never gets the ball.<doh> i have heard of excuses but this takes the biscuit, you are trying to say that for the last ten games he has not been passed the ball...<laugh> its what he does with it that counts and he has proved without any shadow of doubt that he cant deal with being our main number uno top of the pile striker,,,,,where are the goals??? where are the assists??? there ain't any and thats a fact, if Rodgers is going to persist in playing the way we do we need a striker that can get into the right spaces, that can lose his man, that can take on the defence all day long.....the fact is he cant and all he can do is score the odd goal now and then ....and that my friends is not good enough for a lone striker.....

Look guys Danny is the best we have, but at this level he needs a mentor to look up to, and if I was Rodgers I would move Moore and Lita on, who's combined wages will pay for the Yakubu type striker we need, that way the quality up front would be improved, the pressure taken of Graham so he can develop at this level, and Dobbie is there to for an additional plan B, it's not rocket science, but all Rodgers has done with Siggy is bought more goals, for his 1 Million bonus, it's short term fix, we need a Quality front man, and a replacement Ferry Boddie, who would not only boss the midfield, but score outside the box! If Rodgers can sort that out, with perhaps another CB, then we will be fine next season!.................. <ok>

PS: Dilli I take it your not that fussed on the QPR boys then!....................

£2.5 million compensation? Not much, about half of what was being bandied about here. Still, I guess that interest in BR would have been highly diluted following our recent appalling run. Like the Swans' supporters, any suitors will probably reserve their judgement until next season to see how we, and he, performs.

In order to stay up we will need a CB (if Caulker leaves) Situ?; full back cover because both have been iffy of late; two midfielders with some muscle (Kemy could be one); and one or two strikers with this Traore fine by me.

If I was on a million pound bonus and the players were mailing it in like they have been, I'd be having a fit.

good post dragon.<ok> how we can keep defending danny is unbelivable when we got options in the squad, they may not be much better but its an option, what other manager would persist with a striker who just dont score as he is suppose to do, he may do better with a partner up front so why dont we try that, it dont make sense to play the same player if he is not doing his job, no other manager would tolerate the lack of goals, brendan is letting himself down doing this and its lucky we are where we are with the points we have got........A must win today at any cost,

WRONG! Ever so wrong. Do you watch football at all? We play 4-3-3 ffs and it 's got us to a fantastic position in the Prem.

    Deal with it.

I think Brendan should give some of his bonus to Musty and Crackerjack so they can come and watch some games at The Liberty. First Class, of course.
