Honeyball yard are backing Eleven Fifty Nine in the bumper but the word out th their "friends" is that it is each way money only. Heard nothing this morning re Gullinbursti but I suspect he will be scratched. THE WEATHERMAN 2.10 Sedge is the best 5/6 shot I have seen in a while....even if it is an Amateur riders race.
Afternoon All My picks for today are:- 2.00 Agent Archie e/w 3.05 Albertas Run Win 3.40 Little Josh Win, Bai Zhu and Always Waining e/w 4.50 Its a Gimme Win And in the big one tomorrow - On his Own There is some cracking talent walking round Liverpool today
Going on the SL prices Mr Henderson is just 100/30 to repeat last years treble in the Saturday’s first trio of races. Meanwhile, the forum’s favourite trainer, is now as low as 12/1 to win tomorrow’s big ‘un. Seeing as how the public so love and respect Mr Henderson a nationwide plunge looks likely on Shakalakaboomboom from now until tapes up, methinks.
SBC - why is Nicky the Needle the forum's fav trainer ??? Is this 100% for everyone - or are you assuming everyone admires him as much as you do - bit presumptious is it not my good friend ???
Here we go, todays selection i will say this only once get on board early.............................. at your peril: 14:00 VULCANITE 8/1 - should be better suited to the conditions and th eflat course of Aintree, if he settles here he is in with a big shout. 14.30 JOIN TOGETHER 5/1 is much better than his last run when pulled up in the RSA, when all was not well with the PN stable and the little bit of extra juice in the ground should be enough to see him go close again today in a much smaller field, with 2 of his 3 runs coming in fields of no more than 6 runners. 15:05 ALBERTAS RUN 9/4 short priced but looks the likely winner here, loves the course and the stable is going well. 15:40 ALWAYS WAINING 12/1 and PARADIS DE THAIX 25/1 are my two trend EW fancies against the field. 16:15 in a race that historically has not been good for favourites with on 2 winning in the last 10 years and 5 from 10 being double priced winners it is worth looking for a nice priced one, my two EW fancies against the field here are HAWKES POINT 25/1 and GULLINBURSTI 14/1 16:50 ALL THE ACES 22/1 perm one from 22, so ive gone for the novice of the bunch who was a very useful performer on the flat for Messrs Jarvis and Varian on the flat and has looked progressive in his runs to date and ran a decent second on his debut to PROSPECT WELLS beaten by 4l, any indicators from his run earlier could trigger a move in the market. Finally one that caught my eye for no other reason than i have followed him all season and he has looked a decent type runs in the 4.15 NETMINDER and is a massive 150/1 and was staying on LTO so the extra distance should suit him. Like i said at your peril, good luck everyone today.
Dayo, of course, Mr Henderson is the forum’s favourite trainer. Even those who try to fight the fact are secretly admirers of his. The phrase ‘I think they doth protest too much’ always springs to mind when they give their anti views. The great man should have a fantastic day tomorrow but it will take an exceptional piece of training, I would have thought, if he is to win the big ‘un with Shakalakaboomboom.
SBC - again how can you 100% categorically support this fact ?? I respect him as a trainer - but as a man - would'nt pee on him if he was on fire if you get my drift - I do believe looking over many posts over the last few years that a lot of people on this wonderful forum don't particulary like the man either or respect him !!! He is not called Nicky the Needle for nothing you know SBC - Sir Henry / John Gosden / Barry Hills - wonderful trainers and MEN - Mr Hendo and Aiden O'Brien are two peas in a pod (dodgy) as far as I am concerned. We all have are fav footy / cricket / sports teams etc and individuals and that is why people have opinions and makes the world go around - but to state he is the forum's fav trainer - bit far fetched me thinks and bordering on obsession !!!
Dad goes a hunting and bags himself a deer. Cooks it for the family but doesn't tell the kids what it is, but gives them a clue. "It's what you mother calls me." The boy yells. "It's a ****in' dick, don't eat it!"
Cyc - very good !!!! Vulcanite (Pricewise) and Prospect Wells for me in the first at Aintree. Can't make my mind up between Silviano and Champion Court in the second !!! Any help guys ??
Dayo, go and tell John Gosden you want to build a house within half a dozen miles of his and then see how 'wonderful' he is! Meanwhile, Barrington Hills! Oh, crickey! He's shouted obscenities at more people than the entire forum have had hot dinners combined. Oddy, I think the Quinlan lad is injured. Had a bad fall a week or so after Chletenham I seem to recall. Meanwhile, quote of the day. Alan King says his Grand National hope is ready to ‘rock and roll’. Oh come on people...smile!
Afternoon folks. Day off, bird off, bacon and egg sarnie consumed. Placepot on. Sweet afternoon. Right Step for me here, and got a fancy, copied by the RP trends guy, for a 100-1 shot in the 4.15. Aikideau is the beast and he is definitely overpriced. on another note, there's a lot of screaming at aintree, must be offputting for the beasts,
