Interesting how some things are seen as, Alternative, Negative or Wrong, just because they don't agree with someone else's views!
The Hoolahan debate is a classic case, I agree that his job as playmaker is probably the most difficult, but, for me he does lose the ball too often and he won't ****ing well shoot when he has the chance. I'm not saying he's no good or awful or shouldn't be in the team, it's how I see things, it doesn't make me Alternative, Negative or Wrong!

I've said on a previous post that I feel he often tries to take on one player too many when he would be better advised to either pass or have a shot at goal. He is a good player though and his pass for Surman's goal at Wolves was top drawer, finishing off an excellent build up. If we play 4-4 2 as we did against Spurs, then he maybe wouldn't be in the starting lline-up, but could come on as a sub if PL decided on a change of tactics.

Brilliant display of attacking football on Easter Monday, let's hope for more of the same againsty 'Citeh' and very happy to be able to watch most games this season!!!!

........a much better "footballing" side? no way. a much better passing side possibly, but we have scored more goals, got more points and won more games which has been done by playing "football", not nancying around in your own half for minutes on end, passing the ball between the back four and the goalie and getting no-where.

One final thought from me. To say we are playing ok is mad. You can't play ok and get to where we have done throughout the last three seasons. I don't quite remember the days of bayern Munich but we haven't played so well since then.

I don't quite agree that the quality of the premier league has dropped but even it has you try and win against what is in front of you. We have earned 9th in the premier league and it is a heck of a lot better than wen we were stranded near the foot of league 1.

Indeed not! And if, if we can keep hold of PL and his coaching team, we may well emulate the exploits of Stringer/Walker's team of 1992/3.

What has happened to our club is no fluke, it has been achieved by astute decision making in the boardroom and tactical genius by Sir Paul and the team.

The quality of the prem has not dropped - far from it. Last time we did well in the top flight, there were very few sheikh or millionaire owners and just a handful of overseas 'superstars' being enticed to the UK for the massive payouts now available.

That makes Lambert and his squad's achievements this season all the more remarkable,
because this squad has got to where they are despite facing some of the most expensively assembled opposition the whole world has to offer ! <ok>
