How I'd have it, but can't see him leaving Stewart out all together, think he'll be on the bench instead of East.
I can't see him leaving Stuart out either, Nick seems to be giving him every chance possible to show some improvement. Might be Simpson cos he scored in the reserves yesterday.
Either way I don't see NB putting Stewart & Brady on the bench in favour of a sub defender. Something has to give. It better not be Garcia.
I would almost agree with this team except for the subs.bench, Stewart should be ahead of both Cullen & Simpson,, imo.
You must really underrate Simpson if you'd rather have no strikers on the bench. And at the moment, I see no reason why Stewart should be getting ahead of Danny Emerton, never mind those two.
If i had my way Simpson should have been sent packing after that woeful performance for the reserves weeks ago. He looked like he would rather be anythere than playing for us. He had the opportunity in Jan to come back and make a name for himself especially after Millwall showed him the door. But oh no, typical southern nancy and went into sulk mode. It amazies me how anyone can defend such a player with such an attitude. It will be interesting to see if anyone comes in for him in the summer. Fingers crossed that we can find a club that will have him. NB can always move KING up top from the wings if needed though on saturday.
I have about five issues with that statement, but I'll refrain. My stance on Simpson has been well documented and remains the same. I get sick of reading the same points being made by the same people time and time again, so I won't be hypocritical.
I'd agree that Simpson wants out, but while he's still with us, I'd definitely have him in the squad ahead of Cullen.
Any advice from you lot re. travel and parking? Never been to Vicarage Road before, is it a bitch of a place to get to and from?
It's not difficult to get to, it's not far off the MI and I normally park in an industrial estate a short walk from the ground(you should pass it on the way to the ground, it's immediately before a bridge).
Sweet cheers, I'm off to this one on me tod as me old boys away, using his car and it's quite literally twice the size of mine so I can't park it to save my life so the most important thing for me is avoiding those horrible tight car parks. On that note anyone fancy a pint pre-match? Always nice to have a bit of company
Which way do you leave the M1 and go into Watford? Just searching about on google maps now, only industrial estate I can find is just south from the ground.
think we usually park in some multi storey car park about 5 minutes from the ground, not sure of any directions etc as my mate does all that, so dont know why i bothered you with this info really...
Your entitled to your opinion of course,, But to defend Simpson is beyond belief. Sorry if that upsets you.
Oh come on PB. Its easier than Festa Citys ground. Just off the M1 or M25 depending on which way you are coming from but would would agree on the parking. Best to get there by 1pm. I use either the nearest rail station car park or the hospital one just a 10 min walk away. Watdfords website has a click page with a map showing where they are and how to get to them from the motorways.
