Whitmarsh replaced his transmission fluid with Yorkshire pud batter.

Good remedy for a dry, flakey transmission

I don't think it's certain that the race will start under the safety car but I am less confident of a Lewis win than I was; I do expect a good fight from him though.

whitmarsh says that theres a 1% chance he may not have to replace the gear box :/
the decision will be made at the end of today apparently. not getting my hopres up, but a small chance is still a chance

I wouldn't be surprised if they waited until after qualifying. If it finishes like FP2 did they'd start behind both Red Bulls and both Mercedes, in that case I think they'd gamble with Hamilton's gearbox.

If the planets aline correctly this year we could get a Lewis vs Seb battle for the win with the likes of Webber and Jenson keeping them honest the whole way.

Lewis looks strong and happy, Vettel looks the happiest all season with the car and is also quite quick. To keep them close together Lewis needs to get 6th and Vettel to be stuck behind both Mercedes on race day.

    Very interesting.
