Nice to see Arsenal is so loved on here. As for Liverpool... prior to the Suarez incident, they were one of the least hated teams. Only Everton and Man Utd fans truly despised them. Other than that, most neutrals always looked forward to Liverpool and Man Utd and tended to root for the scousers. But after the indignant way they dealt with the Suarez affair and Mr Dalgish's childish attitude, it's easy to dislike them. So I'm not surprised they crop up a lot in this thread.
I forgot Coventry. The Ricoh should be preserved forever to warn architects of everything a football stadium should not be.
Rangers and Arsenal don't, those are personal things. Chelsea generally do, apart from in recent times, Norwich fans in general dislike us as much as we do them after the past season and a bit, and we have a healthy hatred for Cardiff Luton come a close 6th though
You have not been on Chelsea's radar for two decades; and even back in the day attracted little interest at the Bridge as evidenced by the smal gates we got for games v Rangers compared to Fulham WHam Sours etc. Although this was due in part to your weak away support as well as poor attendance by our home fans
Not true mate, when Chelsea were winning trophies under Jose and Liverpool could still manage a top 4 finish there were scousers all over Chelsea forums spouting utter bile about Isssttttooooorrrrrriiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee and generally acting like complete tits but they've all been very quiet of late for some reason.
Problem I have with most liverpool fans is that they're too biased to even converse with, like Tel said all they babble on about is history when losing an argument. There's a few decent scousers, couple on here are sound but I can't stand the biased ones.
Brentford really do and so do Fulham from my experience, a lot my Fulham mates say they hate QPR more partly because of the Hughes factor and being on equal par etc.
chelsea mark hughes gillingham none i hate, just like beating them, cfc should of beat them more, especially this season
I was surprised by how much Fulham hate us, I had no idea until this season, they call us 'the scum' on their forums!! It's crazy, but I guess they have more reason to hate us than we do
I think it's much to do with personal experience these days and I think supporters are different to fans. I live in a Chelsea area and all the Arsenal fans that live my way hate Chelsea more than Spurs without doubt, the few Spurs fans I know also hate Chelsea more than Arsenal. Spurs/Chelsea goes back years, there are many Spurs fans that hate Chelsea as much as Arsenal if not moreso. I think it comes down to where you live more than any other factor. Back to my point about fans and supporters a lot of rivalries have been diluted and some exaggerated due to a generation of fans that are brought up on Sky (this applies more to the "Sky 4", other clubs far more resistant). Due to this you'll find most newer Chelsea fans will hate Arsenal/Liverpool/United more than any other club, most Liverpool fans hate United/Chelsea more than say Everton. There are very few rivalries that are even. The only top flight ones I can think of are the Black Country and Tyne-Wear Derbies.
I think a lot of it is to do with Hughes and the fact Fulham may feel threatened by the emergence of QPR as a force. I know a lot of Fulham fans that went to the game at LR that were way more excited about it than any Chelsea fixture. Maybe to them they realise Chelsea are out of reach but QPR can be got at. I don't know really.
Haha - whenever I and one of my friends (who was a 'Pool fan) used to banter, he'd always end up saying '5 CL wins' to which I would
