I finished college 3 years ago and only had 1 'wage rise' since then, despite getting 2 promotions They said my day at college was included in my wage, so I shouldn't be paid more when I changed to 5 days in the office. If I wanted sent to uni I would have to have taken a 20% wage cut and pay for the course myself.
well yeah but i treat the place with respect, there was this big darkie that used to work in here that used to stroll in in the mornin n put a big hunk of meat in the microwave for abt 2 hours n it absolutely stunk the whole place out then he went n got it at lunch time, big **** i think he was into voodoo n that too
What department do you work in? I've heard the only decent money in freelance is mechanical engineering. I'm geotech so nothing I do has to be exact mm or anything, I just put 5m radius symbols on plans to show a 72mm borehole <accurate>
He's not called Julius is he? I was on site with an African who done stuff like that. **** had a phd but I was telling him how things worked
theres **** all money in architecture either. Im top earner among the monkeys in here on £18k. my work is supposed to be to mm accuracy but the surveys in here are gash, measured in cm. also the standard of draftsmanship is the worst i have ever seen. <onelineweight>
I work for a civil engineering company. We cover absolutely everything from ****ey house extensions to football stadiums. If the job we've been trying to get going goes ahead as planned this year we are golden for years. multi billion pound contract. it's ****ing massive!!
Architects are always the worst for cad. Everything on 0 layer Guy sent me topo surveys of before, during and after site works so I could work out volumes excavated. Opened them up and in every single one he had exploded everything to single lines, moved the tiles around and they were all at different rotations with no common point I emailed him back a picture of massive tits
my old firm were the baws at draftsmanship. nicest cad drawings i have ever seen came out of there. put my drawings on the table at the interview for this job and the boss spent the rest of the time telling me how good my drawings are
they look good once they are plotted though i hate ****s that draw on one layer too. I have been asked to re do the cad standards to make them as good as my old office, haven't acutally started yet, i plan to put it off as long as possible.
