I have 2 x tickets for Peter Kay’s sold out arena tour at the Birmingham NIA on Sunday 10th April at 7.30pm (tickets in hand, not just emailed confirmation).

Face value of these tickets is £75.00 for the pair and I have them advertised elsewhere for £120.00.

If anyone on here is interested please PM me. I can arrange to meet prior to the game on Saturday and will take cash on delivery.

    Thanks

There was someone claiming that the prices for City matches was obscene. Dread to think what he would make of them, or the prices paid for the privilege of watching some made up group or bimbo miming.

I hope the mods. are going to advise the local Constabulary about this blatant ticket touting and profiteering!

    Maybe even pull this thread????

Why would they? Legitimate reselling of gig tickets for a profit is not against the law!

I am a huge fan of peter kay and i went to see him in sheffield a couple of months ago doing the same show as this one. I have to say I was really dissapointed in it to be honest, as wer most of my mates tht i went with. Not worth the ticket price at all...never mind for £60 each! You will be lucky to sell them.

Ticket touting is only illegal in the UK for the re-sale of tickets for sporting events. There are currently no legislations that prohibit the resale of tickets for music gigs, concerts or any other non-sporting events. The government are looking to implementing new laws, but only to prohibit the amount of profit you are allowed to make (up to 10% of face value) and not the actual profit making itself.
If it were an illegal practice, there would not be several viable websites for people to do this online (GETMEIN and Viagogo) to name but two!

I would suggest that anyone wishing to sell tickets to their fellow City fans should be doing so at face value.

Anyone who's selling tickets as a money making exercise, shouldn't really be doing it on here(perhaps try www.motforum.com instead :emoticon-0116-evilg)

The way this thread is going, I doubt you're going to get any takers anyway. <ok>

Did you actually read the reply before posting that?

It isn't against the law to resell tickets for an event like this. And it only becomes touting if you are making a profit.

Touting is when an unregistered seller is selling tickets at any price!
It has become the accepted that they have been touted if they are being sold at greater than face value
