Leeds fans at work have said that Colin has said no wonder Leeds are playing crap because only 5 of them will be there next season.
Whether he or Ken has decided that is unknown.

if I was Lambert the one player I would be going for Bellamy. He can't be happy at Liverpool and he'd thrive being a big fish in a smaller pond. I don't think Snodgrass would be an improvement for you.

I make absolutely no apology for saying time and time again I would love us to sign Snodgrass. He would excel playing in the Premier League week in, week out.

    £3.5m and he'd be ours, I reckon.<ok>

I think he'd be a great acquistion. Leeds had a group of players that could have been a very very good midfield, if their manager had managed to get the full talent out of them. Given Howson's performance's so far, I can see how the coaching team at Norwich would elevate snodgrass to the next level.

Do you honestly believe that Bellamy is a Lambert type signing? He doesn't sign older players and he certainly doesn't sign players that are on the money Bellamy is.

    bizarre comment yorkie.

snodgrass is a terrific player. lambert has worked with him before at livingston and tried to buy him last summer. its as close to a guaranteed signing as i can think of to be honest! as for bellamy, we are making new heroes at our club - why go back to an old one? great player for us and still is - probably one of liverpool's best - but would not enhance us anymore, only bring trouble to the dressing room

1 year left on his contract. Would be a terrific addition to our squad and cant imagine it would be a stupid fee this time round. The mirror have also said that Colin is meeting Santa this week to seek assurances that Snodgrass will be at Leeds next season.

i think £3.5m would get him this time around. they wanted £8m last summer!!

he's one of the top five players outside the premier league in my opinion.

They'll only need 5 players once Colin brings in his allstars from QPR.... <laugh>

I've just said on a Snodgrass thread on the Leeds board that I think we'll sign him. The first guy to reply said that he would put money on us getting relegated as we'd have three unproven Premier League players from Leeds in our squad.

    Bellamy...er no!

The SECRET to our success is no primadonnas or egos, young ambitious players, it may have escaped your notice but we have the premier league's youngest squad, and us fans much prefer it the Paul Lambert way.

    Naughton, Rhodes and Snodgrass...survival guaranteed.<magic>

<laugh> One right out of the Roy Keane book of 'How to be a Manager'! Hampy cracks me up.

We loved him once, but I doubt he'd take well to being a small fish in what is now a much bigger pond. <ok>

Snodgrass all the way for me.

lol how litle you know about football mate Bellamy is well past his sell by date and in no way fits the Lambert mould Snodgrass is a class act but I must admit I think we already have a lot of cover where he plays, hopefully we just look at another couple of defenders to deepen the pool and protect against injury / suspension and get another attacker to replace / cover for Vaughan while he recovers

I can't believe so many of you guys have bought this! This was obviously intended as a WUM post and so many of you have bitten... I think everyone knows that Lambert would never sign Bellamy including Hamps, and that line 'big fish in a smaller pond' has obviously been very carefully engineered...<doh>

I think you're over-estimating his intelligence, DM. You could write a book about all the ridiculous things he's said over the years. Just look at your own signature.<ok>
