Earlier on in the season, I went on holiday with the familly to North Devon. In the local pub one night there was a stink ( I believe that is the collective noun ) of spud supporters. All night they were going on about the 'demise of The Arsenal', and how life was looking sweet. Would love to meet the same bunch now !
As per Harry's Disciple's assertion: I want to know which Arsenal fan (s) were saying that there was a North London Powershift ?
Personally even if they finished third and we finished fourth, I still wouldn't have thought there was a power shift, if it happened for another 2 years in a row, then yes. But if not then it's just another anomaly.
I would say the need to outperform us for about 5 years in a row before it could even be debated . And that is NOT going to happen . Say what you like about Harry but he is indeed a good manager , when he goes i think Spurs will slip backwards.
We have more difficult games, it's not over yet. Whatever the outcome we've let the Spuds get much too close this season. Hopefully we can build on this season, buy quality players like Podolski and Vertonghen, and reinstate a more definitive superiority over them.
