Thought it worth a wee mention that the Bolton game was Brede's 200th for the club. His debut was against them also in January 2008. If you do the maths this is a pretty amazing achievement. Long may it continue.

As well as his CB role he has poped in the odd, sometimes crucial, goal. This one is my favourite though -

Come on Brede break this year's duck !

Absolute top defender! And I hope he stays for a few more years.
I would highlight that Aaron Hughes has also just hit the 200 barrier (including 3 as sub).
Our best defensive partnership for a long time.

Wow, it feels like he's played 2000 for us. Well done Brede!

So Brede and Aaron Hughes have a combined total of 400 appearances for us and the pair cost a combined total of 4.5 million? We have done well.

Great point about good value. How much did Chelsea pay for Luiz? Just asking.

Upwards of £20m Captain, Our whole back line against Chelsea cost us about £8.5m, and in fact our whole starting XI against them cost us approximately £20m. Put that in perspective against the transfers of the like of Luiz, Torres, Carroll etc. and it shows how well we have done with regards signings and value for money.

I still remember Brede's debut for us, it was coincidentally against Bolton also, a drab 0-0 draw but the clean sheet kept made me think we had found a real gem of a player. Could easily reach 300 for us.

He's made a huge, quiet impact on the team. Best defender since I've been following Fulham. I like it, too, that he's a goal threat. Congrats to our big Norwegian.

A great player. One of the buys of the season from Woy when he bought him.
