I am an economic migrant, I moved for work, the third time I've moved in 6 years. I work in an office almost entirely full of people who migrated to the Isle of Man for work. Some people migrated from Belfast, Liverpool or London and some people migrated from China. If I was ever to get offered a much better job in China I might move there - and that's becoming not so unlikely a scenario either, the way the world economy is developing. I've much more disdain for people who have an inflated sense of privilege, as if being born somewhere entitles them by birthright an easier life than a person born elsewhere.
well done mick the point i was trying to reach to everyone last night its these lazy radicals who claim off the state for their 5 wives and 5 kids thats not on in my view and the goverment should trace every single one and stop their benefit u watch how quickly they will pack their bags without state handouts
Yeah OK jon - but in the meantime you could still start to hit back by cutting off a hand ( the one you use for typing would be good. ) I was going to be rude and suggest that, in order to claim more in benefits - for a greater disability, you could cut off your head- but in your case I'm not so sure that would impair you.
Its one of the most beautiful places I have visited with some funny (humorous) people. Very peaceful place to visit to recharge the batteries.
Approx 80,000 people live there. Weathers a lot like here than in Antarctica. Low-tax economy with no capital gains tax, wealth tax, stamp duty, or inheritance tax and a top rate of income tax of 20%. Some people on this forum need to get out the house more.
