As I often find myself meeting and 'chatting' to players before and after most matches i thought i would give you guys the chance to post questions you would like to ask. Please keep them clean and polite. I dont want to grill Tiny about the Eduardo incident, it would be unfair. If you post them i will try to put them to the players before the end of the year but i cannot promise anything as there will only be 2/3 games. I want to sticky this so i can find it with ease on Saturday before i leave for the match and dont have to hunt.
First is BB's question to Tom James asking when he thinks he will be getting some game time. Could you ask Scott Loach what he thinks about the atmosphere in our home games?- Mitch Ask TK who he spoke to at Man U before deciding that we'd be a good club for him to be on loan to.- Barry MW- Could i ask if he is happy with the opportunities he has been given this season after his taste of first team football last season.- Mitch Any- Who is longest in the showers- W_Y.
Can we try to rephrase that slightly Mitch? Could i ask if he is happy with the opportunities he has been given this season after his taste of first team football last season.
I would love to ask yours Mitch, but as i am not an accredited member of the press the stewards might get suspicious. I can ask that Barry.
If you could please ask this question; Lloyd - Every Watford supporter appreciates that you are a Hornet through and through <pause whilst he nods to confirm this> your incredible goal to games ratio is one reason as to why the fans love you so much <pause as above> However, is it true that you have only stayed at Watford all this time as nobody has ever made an offer for you? <watch the reaction of a confused man> End interview.
I can answer that one now mate. There have been bids for him before, he says, but he said he wanted to stay at Watford. However, i will ask for you and see if the answer changes.
Yeah, i do. I go to a football match to support my team and for me, part of that is the atmosphere. I walk away from every match having lost my voice, if i wanted to sit in a library i would support Arsenal or go to the public library in the town center.
Fair enough. It just makes me cringe when he does it!!! Away fans must be laughing at us too! If it actually helped out with the atmosphere then Id be all for it but it doesn't. p.s Id say the Emirates has a better atmosphere than Vicarage Road. You can hear the managers shouting at our place.
The atmosphere is better this season than it was last. And when i was banging the drum against Cov, the noise was great. I would disagree about the Emirates, i know someone at uni who goes every week and he says its a graveyard. As for the away fans, their mascots do it at their ground, so why shouldn't Gareth/Harry??
A graveyard would still be louder than Vicarage Road though. We have a reputation of being the quietest home fans in the football league. Last time I went to a home game where the atmosphere was decent was 2 seasons ago.
