    Completely agree, we've needed stability for years and Pardew seems competent.

    Isn't it a tad depressing when you try and think of something positive to say about our football manager and the best we can come up with is 'competent'.

    Great to hear he's doing so well.

    I've never found out the reason why he went nuts after that goal... did Adidas refuse to give him the new Sambas?? Anyone know?

    Very depressing, but he hasn't really had a chance to prove himself as of yet, maybe towards the end of the next season we can make a proper evaluation of him. It's only a few years ago that he was rated as one of the top young managers in the country, heres hoping he fulfils his potential, and takes us up the table.

    Back to the original article, he does seem to be doing rather well so far.
    He would have to be mad to come and work for Ashley though.
