    Disrespectful ****.

My opinion on him has changed completely, used to think he was a nice, genuine bloke.

Me too. I listened to the pod and it wasn't just what he said about the 15th. He was just having a rant about everything. I don't know whether it was an act or whether this is what he's really like when the shackles of national broadcasting come off.

One thing he made perfectly clear was is hatred of LFC and Kenny Dalglish.

Well, as we've said before, hatred is a form of flattery. No-one would be arsed spending their energy on hating someone they considered irrelevant. If he feels the need to be so gobby about us, we must still needle him.
    Good.

FFS what he said is correct. Why do you not play on that date? Play and play well for them. I'm guessing the 96 were BIG Liverpool fans. Would they not want to see them play? And turing down a grand for charity. Biting your noses off to spite your face.

    Idiots <doh>

Is it not about time you Scousers stopped playing the victim all the time?

Liverpudlians used to have a reputation for producing great rock bands and top comedians. Now all you're known for is endless mourning and reveling in your own misery.

Let it go. It's not healthy.

Never been necessary............so in all that time the 15th has never fallen on a Saturday. And did someone <whistle> at Anfield not say "we don't play on the 15th"

I think the point is, that regardless of the trains, you wouldn't have played.

Have there really been no league or cup fixtures that you may have had to play on that date since?
