De Jong is slow, I think he's more suited to Spain or Germany, and Marco Reus has already signed for Dortmund for next season (for 17million as well, way above our bracket). KieBling has never fulfilled his potential, and for me would struggle big time in the Premier League, although his height could be a potential asset. Bas Dost looks like he could be potentially superb, given his height and finishing ability. Fletcher is a goalscorer, and he's playing in a dog **** side, he'd be a cracking signing, I don't care if his names not as glamourous, he would score plenty in our side.
Fair play Reus, deserves Dortmund, but 17 mil is steep. You might be right about Fletcher. With Sess's runs and Larsson's delivery he can score more than the 10 he is on now.
When Wolves had a good run of a few matches (back end of last season , carrying over) Fletch 2 against us put him on 21 in 20 games mate. He also scored well for relegated Burnley. The lad deserves a better platform, and considering he's good with head and feet (and a really clean first time hitter), with Seb & McLean, i'd put him down for a minimum 15. I agree it's high on Reus mind, he's a great talent, I think Dortmund deliberately went a bit high to nail him down, knowing that Goetze will be away at the end of the season for silly money. Goetze is almost pornographic to watch on a good day mind, I hope he makes the correct move. I see Bayern have snaffled Xerdan Shaquiri as well, another potentially immense youngster, for a paltry 10 million euro. Robben on his way out then....
Your right 10 million euros for an extremely 2 footed young creative player is fantastic and I imagine he is an understudy to Robben. I don't know who will buy Goetze but I hope he goes so Schalke can get an advantage.
You have a bond to Schalke? I have a slight one to Dortmund (due to a family member living not far outside, went to a game at the Westfelstadion just after they extended it vs Hamburg, and WOW!), so I guess we have to really ****ing hate eachother now That is a great ****ing derby by the way, incredible supporters, both sides, and 2 of the most stunning stadiums in world football. My nanna was from Tuscany, a Fiorentina fan, so if you like Juve, we may as well meet up, tooled up, and fight to the death.... I'm stunned at the Shaquiri price, would have thought around 18million.
My Mother and Nan are royal blues. Pretty mad stuff. On the Shaqiri value, I think they could be a clause of some kind.
Are they German? Or is it completely random! I'd agree on Shaqiri, too good feet, hammer left, acrobatic as an olympic gymnast, young, half decent looking lad (marketable?), seems madness to go for what is in effect 'solid' player money. I think he'll develop at Bayern, and they will make 2 or 3 times that back in 3-4years, they are good like that.
Bayern are the Manchester UTD of Germany in my mind and yes my mother came from Bremen though but was going to move me to Gelsenkirchen when I was 10 but it didn't materialize for personal reasons.
ky Sports understands that Motherwell winger Chris Humphrey has again been attracting interest from clubs in England. Several scouts from the Premier League have been in attendance at SPL games monitoring the flying winger and cannot have failed to be impressed by his recent displays. Aston Villa, Liverpool, Sunderland and Swansea City are among the clubs who have been at recent Motherwell matches and his performances may well mean a move to England is likely in the summer.
liverpool have sacked Damien Comolli!!! if we could get him that whould be amazing for talent spotting.... also I asked a scottish mate of mine about Chris Humphrey this is what he said... "he has looked decent here but the pl am not so sure mate"
Makes sense, Commolli has a phenomenal track record, anyone with eyes who wasn't Kenny Dalglish knew they weren't next level Liverpool players! On a high from last night mate?
so happy it was an unbelivably shocking call by the linesman to disallow the goal and then 5 mins of added time but the atmosphere sounded amazing (reminded me of the sunderland vs arsenal match which was amazing with a small crowd) im going to the last 5 matchs of the season and it should be great
The disallowed goal was a scandal, but maybe a blessing, as they'd have came at you stronger for a longer period. Lovely finish for the goal, Moses very impressive (and frustrating) again. I think your gonna pull through again, you aren't just winning, you are playing very well as a unit. Think the current bottom 3 have had it, personally.
so upset that bobby will be leaving soon because he is to good for us.... moses i dont rate (IMO) he is talented but just doesnt pass compleate opposite of jimmy we have been playing like this for 2/3 months but just not getting the luck
Moses could be honed into something really special though, all about his decision making, great talent though. You'll keep the Martinez for another year, he's classy as ****. Loved the lip read last night on the disallowed goal to the 4th official... 'what the **** is that??!!' Gan on son!
