The dancing man is a film of a real person with a smiley face added on top. If anyone was brave enough (Hornette) they cold be dressed in Watford kit and be filmed dancing then place a smiley face to protect their identity.

Morning all from Paris, went out this morning to scale the Eiffel tower but alas the queue was horrendous, I think every other person in Paris who was not at work today and their entire families and any visitors to Paris had the same idea<laugh><yikes> Also only one of the lifts was working, maybe another day, the signs said a 2hour wait, but I think it would have taken a lot longer than that<yikes> I will save it for another day!;)

Given the recent ECHR ruling on the extradition of terror suspects to USA, that's probably a very prudent decision. ;)

Last time I went to Paris, (a few years ago in January!) we did go up to the second stage of the Eiffel Tower (top was closed). On the way down there was a horrible scrum to get into the lift and Mrs vic lost control after being pushed in the back by a large Italian Mama. She (Mrs vic) then proceeded to lay about her with her large & heavy handbag (in true Carry On style) clearing a path for me to walk though the parted throng into the lift to the amazement of a party of Japanese who were politely waiting to the side. The Italian party followed me into the lift muttering dire threats (I believe I heard the word "muerte" several times).

Nothing (not even a horse's head in the bed) has however happened since......

Thanks for the coffee Ak - had it with a banana Danish this morning. Oooohhher Matron!

If Omar Mahmoud Othman could not be sent to Jordan but can be sent to the United States why not send him to the United States and they could send him to Jordan after doing whatever they planned?

Abu Qatada makes him sound pleasant. Abu is father and Qatada is friendly likable and generous.

With you now BB, I was thinking too deep...

AK - We cannot send him to the US as they have never charged him with anything there and as such they have not requested his extradition - in any case if they had he would be rather old by the time they had finished with him!

Mods, I think there's something strange going on with my account. Every time I add a tag, the tags that were already there get removed. But I'm not and never have been a mod, so surely it shouldn't be possible for me to do that, deliberately or accidently?

Evening all from the depths of Dorset. Just put an extra jumper on to try and keep warm. Off to the pub quiz tonight so hoping for a log fire, decent real ale and lots of football questions. Last time we were here we won the kitty on the basis of a football question, and I was the only person in the room who knew the answer .

Just a quick scan of the site, cannot be seen to spend too much time on here. Hope that you are all still enjoying the fact that MM did not manage to beat us on his own cabbage patch. I just managed to pick up a R5L signal on the car radio as they scored and I feared for the worse. By the time I was connected to the hotels WiFi we were pressing and from the commentary it sounded as if we might salvage something. Will be missing Saturdays game as well due to travelling, but at least I will be going in the warmer direction. ;)
