Agreed, I felt like I was taking part in Question time as oppose to watching it, which is unfortunately the closest I have ever been to Question time.
The only problem with this that I can see, is there is no "British" identity truely. Britian is a mongrel nation. Its Scottish, Welsh, Irish(ish) English in itself is a mix of Viking, Norman, Angle, Saxon, Jute, Roman. Dont even get me started on the Cornish either. There are regional differences, THe North Eastern identity is far different to the South western. We all have our places. Also, let me apologise for being a bit off. I vehmently oppose what you stand for, but I have to accept that you hold them. Voltaire(I think) said I do not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it with my life.
Is there a BNP or EDL in Cyprus because I'm to old for all this and just want away.Would hate to be sent straight back.
There is still the whole Turkish/Greek cypriot thing going on. Its not all wonderful. I hear Skegness is wonderful this time of year
If I knew how to rep I would rep you And to Cyprussyd, There is a way you can support the BNP and no I don't recommend the EDL one bit, it is about inciting racial hatred and Tommy Robinson is a bigger knob than Boris Johnson could ever aspire to be.
I was in Manchester while an EDL march was on. The irony was I saw a guy with an EDL tattoo in the same Indian restaurant as me later that evening. Bunch of inarticulate thugs.
Tommy Robinson makes 200k a year from the EDL. These guys have gone to demo's with Lighter Fuel in there jacket pockets, knuckle dusters and even knives... this isn't all the EDL supporters but they don't represent those who care about their country and it's people. There supporters are either ignorant or actual thugs and people associate them with the BNP which should not be so, I haven't heard of knobheads burning UAF members at gatherings in the BNP circuit or meeting up with Muslims for a litter fight.
I remember at one time the media couldn't say if a criminal was black, but if they were white they could!
Going back to Mr Wonderful's view on the Falklands, can he explain to me why people who live over 400 miles from Argentina, have no language or cultural similarities with that said country, and have overwhelmingly stated that they want to keep their ties with Britain be handed over to Argentina?
