Norwich are our definite relegation buddies, I like to think we get along with Walsall as well after the promotion/staying up party, and it looks like they will do it again this year. There are a few others I like, Carlisle for the JPT Final, Bristol Rovers for giving us Rickie, Scunthorpe for giving us Nigel...League 1 was fun really.
"average team; over-achieving"? "soulless ground"? ask not for whom the bell tolls sunbeam, it tolls for thee.
Tricky... If West Ham don't go up they'll be in big trouble financially, which is a shame, as their fans don't deserve that. So they could go up, provided they agree to give the Olympic Stadium to go to Leyton Orient. OTOH, Reading are closer to us. If they went up with Brighton, we'd have a few pseudo-derbies to look forwards to. Sure it's not the same as meeting and beating the Skates, but those fishmongers have the delights of a derby with Bournemouth to look forwards to!
For me it has to Reading everytime (what else would you expect from a Berkshire lad?). I also hope that Brighton manage to come up through the playoffs as we need to develop new rivals now that our blue friends from the East are going to the wall.
