Am I the only one who sees the irony of Mr Wonderful supporting the BNP and supporting a team with two senagalese forwards (one of whom cant speak. english both of whom are muslims) a Frenchman with North African descent, Two argentinians who want the Falklands to themselves as well as an Ivorian, A dutchman, an Italian and a frenchman. And thats just the first team! Lets not forget the Ameobies who are of nigerian origin, and simpson and perch who probably wouldnt match up to the "indeginous briton" ideal that the BNP sprouts every time there is an election. I do suppose the aryan masterpice of Peter Lovenkrads makes up for this.
These players are not immigrants they are foreign footballers plying their trade in England. And Simpson and Perch are English, they where born in Manchester and Mansfield respectively. erm. A foreign person plying their trade here is an immigrant. There is a reason that non EU nationals have to have a work permit to play here. Also, im pretty sure that Perch and Simpsons families are not what would be called "indigenous britons" which is what I was getting at, you know the whole "White is Right" thing that the racist parties heavily imply in their manifesto. Not at all. According to the BNP Indegnous brits are those who come from a North atlantic heritage. It is not a question of how many generations have been in Britain. It is an ethnic classifcation. I for one am extremly proud of Britains multicuclutrualism. Of course there will always be problems to do with cultural conflicts. But in the vast vast vast majority of cases these are worked out and idsappear over a relatively short amount of time.
This, this and this again. Only way to get rid of the problems is secularism. Freedom to practice religion regardless of what it is. That has to start the abolishon of the Monarchy though. With a fused head of church and state, there cannot be proper secularisation.
This statement has some truth, I can tell you that. Through out history religion has started wars, I agree with Multi-nationality citizens living here but a Multi-cultural Britain should never be. Britain has a right to it's own identity as does all other country's in the world have their right. One country one culture. If other people think differently then I don't judge that but it doesn't affect my own.
