You just have to look at the performances of Ryan taylor, James perch and Danny Guthrie this season to see that pardew is the better manager. He has rung every last bit of talent out of those players and they are performing on a consistent basis. These are players that after this season wouldn't want to see leave the club. Man management at his best. Then there is how he has handled Ben arfa. We were screaming for him to play, pardew held him back until he was ready for how he wanted him to play. We are seeing the fruits of this now.
Right everyone can see where this is heading, and it seems a general feeling on both side Pardew wins... Now up the Ante........ Who's better Pardew or MoN?
Can't judge it till next season, I'll go out on a limb and say Pardew, I don't think any other manager in the prem could have overseen us to rise so quickly up the prem.
You can always tell the mark of a man by the way he does his tie. I can only infer that your father was a true gent!
I can see exactly where it was heading Commachio you spoil sport. NMG was just about to treat us to another barrage of his ever so entertaining musings on all things Newcastle. Nevermind. Based on careers so far you'd have to put MON above Pardew. Its about winning games and winning things to most people. I would say that some very good managers have won very little though as it all depends where you manage. MON's spell at Leicester stands out. Elsewhere he achieved roughly what was expected, but Leicester was a job well done. Look at them now. MON has done that bit more in his career so far. However Pardew is clearly a late bloomer and both clubs are in safe hands. At present there is nothing between them. They both have their clubs punching above their weight when you look at Newcastle's season and MON's points haul. Pardew has made mistakes early on in his management career that MON didn't, but I think he has come out the other side a much better manager. Certainly PR wise! I have to say neither is particularly likeable character. But they're not there to make friends, they're there to win games.
I love those two guys Commachio. Have them round for tea anytime, just so I could learn from their vast knowledge of Newcastle United.
