This year, on May the 12th, the Premier League Dart's is coming to our fair city. Is anyone going, or planning on going to this? I am a recent darts fan, used to hate it but i have been getting really into it this year, and i will certainly try to get tickets (though, they might already be sold out). So who's your favorite? Nicholson is mine, cos he's a geordie, but also he's the 'bad boy' of darts! He isn't in the PL though, so I'm supporting Webby!!
Never been able to get into watching darts on the TV. A kitchen I used to work in had a small TV in the staff room. After a grueling lunch session I thought I'd sit in the staff room; have a bite to eat and relax watching the usual afternoon junk. The head bartender was a huge 6ft 7 Jamaican and he'd opted to watch the darts instead and he was a tad energetic in his support. Someone won a game; he jumped up and smashed his head through ceiling tiles, his arm hit the TV, it hit the vending machine and smashed a hole in it and the TV was fizzing on the floor. We never got a TV again and I blame darts.
Wheres it being held at they once did it at the Rainton Meadow arena just over the road from mine. It also held the Bobby Robson foundation dinner think it was a culture shock for Sir Alex
He was a monster. He'd walk into the kitchen at 8am; sort through the jacket potatoes and get the biggest one. Place it in front of you and say "I's having dis one. 2 pm. Got it?" I used to phone Trent water to warn them when he was having a dump so they could increase the flow.
