    Taken from the HullCity-Mad site:
"The club have agreed a three-year kit deal with Adidas"

Looks like Adidas owe us an exceptional kit next season to ensure we want to get back into bed with them

I've not been a fan of any of the Adidas stuff except the odd bit of training gear. I personally felt the Umbro stuff what better made and had a bit more thought put into it.

The problem is no matter what brand it is we will get indentikit stuff as we aren't one of the BIG teams Man U, Chelsea, Man C etc etc. I would like to see Nike given a chance, see if they can give us anything different which is unlikely. I like the look of some Hummel kits, but others just look cheap.

I personally liked the Diadora era. Last years kit was appaulingly made and I didnt get this seasons until the fail did the £20 offer and then couldnt believe my eyes that barmby army was just a cheap iron on and not embroidered. Its even stranger when you look at the MLS kits which are quality made with everything except the sponser embroidered on even the league badges on the sleeve which are adidas. The yanks obviously dont put up with crap like we do!

Adidas have an overall sponsorship with MLS meaning only they can supply equipment/kits/balls. So they seem to put a bit more effort into the kits over there and give them a better quality product as they would with the big European sides.

Any brand where you can buy three polo shirts for a tenner in Sports Direct are non starters for me.

That rules out Umbro, Diadora, Fila and all the other cheapo brands.

As for Macron, total dog ****. My lads football team had Macron last year and it was a shocker but not as bad as the Lotto one this season.

Kappa just reminds me of Vicky Pollard and don't get me started on the make of kit Leicester wear. That is the epitome of naff( not even Naff Naff), Burrda or something or other.

Adidas, Nike or Puma for me or if we could get them on board Donnay.

Some of the Fila polo shirts from a few years ago are quite good, but football shirt wise (i e Blackpool) you're right they look ****e. Umbro is a good brand but i think we've finished with them now.

    Never even heard of Burda.

Puma recent stuff looks pretty poor to me, especially the teams that wear stripes.

Lets face it, nobody will make us a shirt that isn't a template for someone else. We're not a big enough name.

We should go leftfield then and ask either La Shark or Donnay to sort one out for us.

    Imagine a La Shark kit?

    Lovely jubbly.

You should be happy to have a decent make. Burrda **** just falls apart. You put your shirt in the wash and the sponsort peels off and the badge start to come off. You just take your shirt back and they give you a new one. Most people have had about 5 shirts this because of it. Rumour has it we have scrapped the contract and signed up with Puma for next season.

So just be grateful you shirt doesnt fall apart <ok>

    Macron? That great name.

Fine for Leeds, not for me.

Puma make decent kits and if they did a deal with Rotherham, there's no reason why they wouldn't be interested in doing one with us.

Admiral has just been relaunched, so they'll be looking for clubs, but so far they've only got Walsall and Tamworth.

But you pay £40 for a shirt you expect it to last longer then a week.

Joma is a very good make aswell. We had them for 1 season and they made very decent kits. The only problem was they didnt meet deadlines for deliveries with the club so we terminated the contract with them.

Suppose you're right. Doesn't effect me though as i don't really buy kits anymore. The last one i bought was the shirt in our first premier league season for nostalgia purposes.

I bought a the training top this season and is better i think. It's just got a decent design and the club badge and that's all.

The problem is clubs don't give a **** anymore as the fans keep buying the kits like sheep every year.

    My main gripes are:

    1. Crap Designs

    2. Crap Quality

    3. Shocking Prices

    4. Tacky Shirt Sponsers - I mean come on, a frigging Hock Shop? FFS City!!!

    5. The fact they change the shirt EVERY season. Takes the piss.

If we stopped buying these rip off take the piss bits of plastic every year, the clubs would have to start making quality products at a decent price.

If anyone thinks it's all nonsense who makes our kit and it's a daft topic then they're wrong.

As it stands my lad has the home and away kit, four training tops and a pair of training pants.
All that comes to Christ knows how much, probably a good three hundred quid.
I don't buy anything for myself but I know if we opt for something ****e like Burrda in the future my lad won't want to wear it.

That's the way it is. We have a **** sponsor, pair that up with a **** brand and no ****er will go near it.

I only wear goalie shirts so quite happy with the one at the moment, wouldn't want them to change to Puma because they go for that skintight type gear and I will look like some sort of Hull City weeble wearing that kind of get up!
