Do you think Derry should have his red card rescinded?

    Well that didn't address my points at all. We maybe looked to attack a bit more when a goal down as you would expect. There is an argument, albeit a weak one, that a sending off without the score changing would improve our chances, but it's pretty illogical and the more I think about it, downright stupid. Being a goal down at Old Trafford with ten men is a virtually impossible task.

    "At 0-0 and 11 men, you had much to lose."- yes we had a point to lose and it was lost because we were cheated out of it. United have some very talented players so chances are we'd have been broken down eventually even with an even playing field, but we'll never know if it would have finished 0-0, 6-0 or 0-1 because we were cheated out of defying that chance.

    Then it is so that you can't have a even slightest touch on the penaltyarea. It is gonna be intresting to watch ManU's matches after that. Yes ,it would have been difficult to us to win or even get a draw on sunday BUT saying that we would never going to win that match is rubbish. How on earth would you know that? If it so why we bother to play these matches anymore? Because you dominate that match so much before Derry's sent off and the penalty? Mind you even we have had a terrible season we mange to beat Chelsea ,Liverpool and Arsenal and played a terrific performance against ManCity. So ,you better use the sentence probably you would have win nevertheless instead us never going to win anyhow.

    Give it up lad. QPR was being tortured before the sending off. After that bl**dy sending off we went into complacency, we lost momentum and I wish we were playing twelve of your men instead of ten and we would have won 5-0 instead. And I am damn serious.

    Thats the nature of football, we can all sit here and moan about the negatives or we can look at the positives of the modern game.

    For example, football is now played instead of the classic 'kick the **** out of everyone ball' of yesteryear.

    Talk about going round in circles. You probably would have won- United win most matches that are 0-0 after 15 minutes- but you all seem to be looking at the same crystal ball.

    At least the mods on here have not banned any of your lot from this board considering the QPR mods did the same when one of our went to your board.

    I said this the other day..
    It's not Utd who are at fault it's the FA they do not have a clue.

    Pen or not, dive or no dive.. it WAS offside and for that reason alone the FA should have recinded Derrys red card IMO.
    The fact that they have not given the tv evidence since then is ridiculous IMO.

    The ref we all now know was wrong or at least the linesman was it was offside we've all seen it.

    If I heard correctly the reason it's not been recinded is becasue.. " The FA panel having looked at the inccident could not overule the ref or lino decision becasue they could not be sure he (the ref) was wrong? Regardless of the result had Derry stayed on the pitch isn't the issue here.

    If the FA can/could not decide pen or no pen after viewing it I assume numerous times.. Feel sorry for Derry and QPR but it's the stupid FA who are to blame not Utd.

    What's worse is one of the officials admitted that he saw Ballotli kick out and said nothing too the ref? So they (The FA) can not do anything. If that's the case.

    WHY was Robert Huth banned and rightly so for elbowing Matthew Upson v West Ham a couple of seasons back. The REF MISSED IT( no card during the game) but the F.A. banned him which I agreed with. Because it was seen later on t.v.

    Have the rules now changed?

    If he was banned then I'm sorry but he should have taken the hint. The hint being that when we've just suffered 4 injustices in the space of a few seconds it might be time to leave it:

    1. Young being a mile offside and not flagged;

    2. Young diving and not being booked;

    3. A penalty then given for a non-existent foul;

    4. Shaun Derry sent off for the same non-existent foul.

    Subsequent penalty converted, we're 1-0 at OT with 10 men and 75 minutes to play.

    BV comes on our board and, when we're up in arms about all that, he starts bitching and whining about how bad he feels because everybody picks on Utd. He was being crass and should've had the sense to leave well enough alone.

    <laugh> Not true and they had happier dressing rooms than the one containing Speedie and Canoville. I hear you're in New York now?

    Just seen QPR's goals from last night. One of them was clearly offside. IT'S AN OUTRAGE!

    Based on the fact that they went and got a rooney ban shortened for actually kicking another player?!

    If you are referring to the Rooney kick that was England who appealed the decision, not Man United.

    On the flip side of this..
    Why wasn't Johnny Evans sent off last night? 2nd foul was far worse than the first.

    Same thing happened with Flanagan vs Blackburn, com's said maybe it was becasue he's only 17/18 yrs old the red didn't send him off. <doh>

    Wigan denied a good goal?

    Utd denied a stonewall pen?

    Wigan scored from a corner that wasn't a corner but, not directly should have defended it anyway.

    It evens out more or less IMO.

    United fans do not expect 'even' when it comes to decisions by the ref
