    Morning Leeds fans,

Its midweek already. Robinson has signed til end of the season. With nothing to play for, why keep him him til the end of the season, unless we are going to sign him on a perminant. Do we really want a 33/34 year old. Is that a taste of things to come?

Lloyd Sam seems to be flying at Notts County. Is he just a league 1 player, or did we release him (loan) too early???

Met anyone famous lately, who how, where and When?

Morning - Looks like we are going to sign Robinson although it seems a little strange not to allow him to return and simply sign him when we can. My worry is that at 33/34 he is obviously going to cost next to nothing, is this a sign of the things to come and the type of signings we can expect Warnock to be making - Please not another pre-season of watching those around us snap up decent quality players while we once again scrounge around.

Morning Ristac, my worry is Robbo, and Webber (his two signings) are just not good enough, At least Robbo is good enough at the moment, but in a years time....

Agreed however they are signings made outside of a transfer window and they both looked okay on their debuts. I am trying to reserve judgement until things get going pre-season proper but I do fear when I hear the likes of Hreidarsson aged 37 are being linked although he is also a LB - a mate of mine at the forest game said a big part of the thrashing was Robbo getting skinned time and time again down the left his lack of pace was woeful?

    Morning lads <ok>

Warnock wants to do it in a season so its all eggs in one basket. He will try & convince Snod to sign for another year with that in mind & wont think twice about snapping up players on short contracts or even players in there twilight of there career IF they can still do a job. Think we will sacrfice a bit of style for a bit more of a battling edge. I dont care who trots out in the white of Leeds United next season as long as they can do a job & I trust Warnock to find that calibre of player IF he is backed.

Worst case scenario. We sell Snod to rebuild the squad, Bates then breaks it to warnock that the sum he is handing over must also cover wages, Warnock walks & we are left with nothing & wont even have a proper pre season to gel & Bates will blame Warnock for bottling it Then say the reason we didnt buy anyone is that we appointed a new gaffer to late. League one footy wouldnt shock me then.

Morning Bucks. I know cynicism is a core part of the Leeds fans gene pool, but your post above is a tad over cynical even for a Leeds fan. Warnock has a history of getting teams promoted. As such, you would think he knows what he is doing. Not quite sure why we've lost so many games of late. I also wonder where we would now be if Grayson was still at the helm. That said, I think Snoddy will stay for at least one more season so long as those coming in given him the impression that we're destined for better things come this time next season.

The only question in my mind is, will Bates really back Warnock? I think he will, as Warnock wouldn't have taken the job if he had any doubts about what Bates would do when the request for funds was submitted. I think we'll sell a few. But I think there'll be a few surprises. Maybe Sam is doing enough to keep his place. Maybe Paynter showed enough on Saturday that he still has a future at Leeds. Even Nunez may find a role in team Colin.

    Should be an interesting summer.

Morning Boggers <ok> Hense why I said worst case scenario <laugh>

Sams got to keep plugging away at Notts county and showing Warnocks best mate Curle what he is all about. Excellent move sending Sam there as Curle is a workaholic & will whip anyone into shape or drop them like a stone & its been said Sam doesnt train to well.

Will Bates back Warnock? Well he must have said he would to a certain extent for Colin to sign up, but anyone would be a fool to trust Kens word. There will be spin in there somewhere! One thing is for sure Warnock will ask for the world & Bates will have to try & knock him down whilst keeping him happy, but that situation happens between every manager & chairman I would have thought.

Just cant wait for this joke of a season to end. Still believe Grayson would have had us in or around the play offs if he had stayed, but I think Warnock is the right man for the job <ok>

Going forward Bucks, Warnock is certainly the better option than Grayson. But I still think it's a pity that Grayson wasn't given the opportunity to show what he could have achieved with us. That said, he did take us out of L1 & we were in a better position when he left than we are now. So I wish him well. Maybe one day when he's got a bit more experience, he'll come back & finish off the job he started.

Change of subject one & all. Of the players you've seen this season, who would qualify for our olympics team? I'll start things off by saying:

The 'Wall forward line - So much better than Tom Daley!!!
Paul Rachubka - Much faster than Usain Bolt (as he runs away from the ball)
Papa Smurf - Should have been in charge of locog (we'd have made a guaranteed profit).

    Your go

McCormack is Curling was a summer sport!

Paynter could probably do well at the shot put (only shot he will have all summer)

    Brown- Karate/Judo/Boxing for obvious reasons

Kissa, not sure how to take Snods comments. Think he will be with us next season though & he will sign a one year extension and leave when Warnock does IF the deals good enough.

My prediction: Snoddy will go (for a sum) and so will Aidy White, McCormack

My prediction: Warnock will try to get in a spine (but fail so we end up with old experienced pros who no longer have the legs) and then add to it with a little creativity and flair, but he won't find any willing to come for the money we are offering so we will fall back in Lloyd Sam, Robbie Rogers, Nunez and othe rlightweights.

Warnock will walk by November - which will be good - because we will get in a new manager who will bring in the youth players. They will play without fear, and in 3 years' time we will bounce back into the Championship.

Oh, did I forget to mention the relegation next season?

Afternoon Kissa, I understand what you're sayin about freebies, though we also had the emergency loan system....I'm pleased Snodds has stood up to be counted. He'll now be a marked man tho....
