The point I was trying to make is that if Hamilton was to have some midlife crisis tomorrow and di Resta got his seat, you're not getting odds of 250/1 on him winning the race just because you got your bet in before I had chance to update the odds. This. Print screen are very easily forged as well. It would be brilliant if a betting site could release some kind of app that could be integrated into the site somehow, like the I know the score thing for predicting football results.
Can I have the following, please? £1 on Raikkonen to win @ 22/1 £1 on Button to win @ 3/1 £1 on Raikkonen to get Fastest Lap @ 12/1
Kimi to get fastest lap: 12/1....2 pounds Lewis to win: 2/1.......1 pound Edit**** Vettel to win: 4/1.....1 pound
AbsolutelyGlorious: A few days ago you suggested updating the odds occasionally. Please could you clarify whether or not you are doing this? - And if so, perhaps make it clear in one of your first page posts, so that everyone can find whatever definition of the rule you decide upon? Cheers. P.S. If you have already done this, sorry but I have not found where you've said it! ©
No one commented on the idea other than you cosi, so I left it out this round to avoid confusion (basically didn't want people coming on and complaining because they weren't aware of the rule and others had got better odds). I'll probably do it for the Spanish GP and see how it goes. Don't see a lot of point doing it for Bahrain as betting will only be open for about four days.
£2 on Hamilton to win @ 2/1 £1 on Alonso podium @ 5/2 £1 on Riakkonen for fastest lap @ 12/1 I've not touched the leaderboard btw, don't want to confuse the matter. Will spin it into order after betting closes.
Chinese GP bets: £1 Schumacher pole @ 11/1. £1 Grosjean podium @ 12/1. £1 Grosjean fastest lap @ 28/1.
Understood. That makes sense. Thanks. So, in the absence of changing odds, and in an effort to blow my winnings, here are my bets for China: £3 on Hamilton to win @ 2:1 £1 on Rosberg for Pole @ 12:1 £2 on Räikkönen for fastest lap @ 12:1 (I wish I could have had four bets because Button's odds for the win are good - especially when compared to Hamilton).
Perhaps we should be gambling on how many players will make it to the Brazilian Grand Prix without going bankrupt? Here's my contribution this week. £1 on Button for pole at 4/1 £1 on Hamilton to win at 2/1 £6 on Button to finish on the podium at 1/2 Please be dry.
Yes, that's an incredible price Bhaji; but since betting odds are essentially a reflection of opinion, they display the lack of confidence the public have in poor old Massa! 50:1 must surely be worth a quid. I'd not seen it. I wonder what Massa himself thinks?
That, imo, is very very poor odds for someone who hasnt had a podium for what? nearly 2 years? I'd say it should be more around the 150 mark to be tempting.
