Skertel and Agger over TV and Kos
Gibbs is playing better than Enrique ATM
And I'd put Rosicky instead of Gerrard
    MAybe even Theo over Suarez
    And Shezza in goal

Well I think we are splitting hairs about the centre backs. We could probably be fair and take 1 of each. As for lucas you might be right him over song. However i cant agree on gerrard over rosicky. gerrard is a spent force.

RVP has not scored in the last four games. We have won three of them. As for you 'arguably' having a better starting 11, again load of ****. We are 15 yes 15 points clear of you. I do not care about things like bad 'luck' and so on, because the lead we have makes all that irrelevant. You can't be that far behind someone and then talk about 'arguably' having a better team.

    Espically because:

1, We have had more injuries by far.
2, Wenger ballsed up in the summer and put us well behind them due to transfer sagas.

Agreed, he should be as professional as possible seeing as he's the manager. I think some of the questions were slightly provocative but it's his job as the boss to take it with a pinch of salt.

Correct. We did not have any bloody full backs for a couple of months and we have still conceded less goals then Liverpool in the league. In attack, its embarrassing how better we are, in terms of stats.

Thats what would worry me as liverpool fan. They have no injuries whilst all those around them have been crippled by injuries. Ok so they lost lucas for a bit but you expect at least 1 or 2 main players to go down. They never had an injury crisis whereas we have had about 3 <ok>

Arsenal have conceded 41 goals in the league this season. 12 at home and 29 away from home.

Liverpool have conceded 36 goals in the league this season. 13 in the league and 23 away from home.

    Okay, here's my Arsenalpool side.

    Szczesny
    Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen Gibbs
    Arteta Song Rosicky
    Theo RvP AOC

    There's a reason we're 15 points clear.

    <laugh> <ok>

    However, Enrique > Gibbs
Lucas > one of the midfield you've put, if Arsenal had a Lucas in their side they'd concede far less.

<doh> My mistake. Looking it again, I got the goal difference column mixed up with the goals against. <doh>

    On the Arsenal/Liverpool side.

Despite his personality, I do rate Suarez the footballer and will therefore get in my team. In a 4-4-3, probably on the left. The rest will be Arsenal players.

Enrique has faded badly this season. He is pretty solid, but Gibbs just has that quality going forward. A tight call, but Gibbs for me. Lucas is a very good DM, but it depends on what sort of team you want. Arteta and Song can defend and attack. Lucas has become very limited in his ability to go forward.

hmm, couldn't argue with that tbf. I would still say Enrique has that edge over Gibbs though but that's just opinion. I reckon Lucas would be class behind two players like Nasri and Fabregas!

Anyway, my main argument is a 15 point lead is just too much, and it shows a clear difference in the quality of two sides. We can't argue about the if's' and 'but's' when we are talking about a lead like this. It's just clear for all to see that Arsenal are a much better side. Case closed.

Chelsea look like **** at the moment but they still look like a world beater compared to that Liverpool side. And we have class players not playing well, Liverpool have mediocre players playing badly. Its a shame when a great club fades, but theres no way Liverpool deserve to be anything above 7th.

Arsenal on the other hand. Don't know how you guys do it. Looks like an average team on paper, plays the best football in the league.

The crux of the problem is how poor we've performed.

Players don't become good or bad overnight. We have a good team playing badly. Very badly. At the start of the year you had a good/decent team playing badly, now it's playing well. There is a difference between form and true ability.

Our poor form has coincided pretty much with injuries to Lucas and Agger - losing Agger meant we had to change our back line, which was statistically the best in the league (along with City's) until his injury. We've also had the Suarez ban, Bellamy's injuries, Kelly and Johnson simultaneously injured and Gerrard only returned to full fitness in January really. etc. Losing Adam was probably a bonus tbh.

I can only think of one world class player at Chelsea - Juan Mata. You have several ' very good' players and the rest go from good to average. Your squad is better than ours, but your first 11 is very even.

Every time we've played Chelsea this year, we've made you look very pedestrian.

We do have our share of mediocre players playing badly, but we also have 'class' players playing at nowhere near their top level - Suarez, Gerrard, Reina and have been robbed (by bloody Chelsea no less) of Lucas, who was approaching what you would call 'class' until his injury.

Far too black and white a way to look at it.

Oh and here's some videos of Lucas attacking:

Noted, but we were horrendusly pedestrian under AVB. I was a bit too harsh but I think we have world class players in Mata and Ivanovic, and class players in Ramires, Terry, Luiz, and Sturridge. All have their flaws obviously, but I reckon these players would start in most PL teams. Liverpool have Suarez, Lucas and Gerrard as individual talent (though i believe Gerrard is fading now) and a good CB partnership in Agger and Skertle but I don't think Enrique, Johnson, Adam, Carrol etc cut it. In all honesty I do think your problems stem from Dalglish. I reckon a different manager could get a lot more out of these players.
