Obsession or what

Just had a look at the Newcastle board, no, not obsessed just part of the job. Would you believe it, they have an article on Roker Park, someone has gone to the trouble to find a map of the new estate there, copy it and write an article about it.

Is that interest or obsession?

 

Be fair, Syd. I would imagine that the article is the first one they've ever had about us. After all, it's us who's obsessed about them. Isn't it? Well that's what they keep writing when they come on our board. Which isn't often. Is it?

 

Syd, your board has an article titled Sportsdirect.com (Hotel California) and another called Newcastle Summer Poaching.

So what exactly is your point?

 

Newcastle Summer Poaching is about buying two of your players. Good players, don't you keep saying? The thread is then more or less monopolised by Newcastle posters.

Yes, the other thread mocks you - then it degenerates, and is highly contributed to by you lot.

How many of us have contributed to the thread that Syd has referred to?

Have you never thought that the reason why you get more Newcastle posters on here than we get Sunderland posters on our board is because there are far more newcastle posters on these boards, and that we post more often than anyone else.

Just look at the thread counts and the post counts for the respective boards.

Syd asked for more of us to visit your board to liven it up, so wherewereyou, you got what you asked for.

Someone writes a thread that will result in us taking the piss out of our local rivals, just as you lot have on here, and you think that it is obsessed?

 

You see, Simon, I don't have a problem with you coming on here. I just have a problem with the fact that you can't face up to the fact that you are obsessed. You just can't help coming back. Generally speaking, I seem to recall that you're quite sensible, though.

As regards the volume of posts, Simon, it really does prove the old adage to be correct. Quality is better than quantity.

Also, has it ever occurred to you that a lot of us don't post on your board for the simple reason that we don't want to? You can't deny that a lot of you post on our board simply because you can't stop yourselves.

Quantity v quantity is not what we were discussing, you asked about the volume of posts.

Yes you may not want to post on our board, but that is your choice.

I really can't be bothered with this so I will take my obsession elsewhere.
