Is it safe to call Liverpool a mid-table team? They're obviously no longer part of the top 4, of which they have been out of for 3 seasons. They ended 7th in 2010, 6th in 2011, and who knows where they will be this season, anywhere from 7-10.

Liverpool are a great example of how bad it can go for a big club to fall out of the top 4, it has a spiral effect, and before you know it, you find yourself becoming a mid-table team, which makes a recovery all the more harder as the top players wouldn't want to come and play for you. For 3 seasons running there has been zero improvement from Pool, they actually look like the are getting worst.

I would have made this article if they'd lost. They went to blackburn and won with 10 men, something we couldn't do with 11. I love bashing liverpool as much as the next man, but now isn't the best time.

oh cmon...i personally hate dalglish but you can't write them off already. Agreed they have a disappointing season but although i really dissaprove of this lets face they'll splash the cash again and it'll be some achievement getting it so profoundly wrong.

You gotta love the pool fans and their desperation, they are saying what's the point of being top 4 if you don't win the European competition. So yes, I guess we should become sh!t like them and end 8th, why not?

We couldn't beat blackburn, but that was a different Arsenal, the new and improved Arsenal thrashed blackburn 7-1.

I may be wrong, but was there not a rumour linking him with a move to Arsenal once? Just saying! ;)

Oh dear the ultimate insult to be called a poor man's Aluminum. However, maybe we can do them a favour and sell him to them for a tidy sum of £25m?

oh you should read some of the comments being made by pool fans on their board, they talk complete and utter sh!t, just look at this:

Dirtyfrank: So if over a 7 year period you ask fans to choose between 4 years in those positions 3 years out and win the champions league, FA cup & League cup or 7 years all in those positions & win nothing and prefer it them you sir are a fool. Enjoy the "your special" ribbon.

LOL so this pool fan says most fans would prefer being out of Europe 3 years running for the CARLING CUP, HAHA, and he talks rubbish too since Pool won the cup while they were in europe back in 2006, not when they didn't make it into Europe.

So how about it Arsenal fans, want to be out of Europe for 3 years for the Carling Cup? And heck, throw the Fa Cup there too, would you take that? Doubt any United fan would either.

Sorry to ruin the party, but Brad Jones is only in goal for 1 game, Reina's ban ends after the cup semi final i believe so he'll take his starting spot back.

That was after the Newcastle game.

    Aston Villa
    Blackburn
    Everton

Ban will be over after Everton, like Kyle said.

There's no contest. At least Fat Sham will do interviews in a non aggressive manner, Dalglish is just a thoroughly unpleasant person.

Agreed, I used to think Wenger and Fergie were bad for doing it every so often after a loss but Dalglish is disgraceful!

To be fair to Wenger, he's never eally hostile to the interviewer, he just insults the referees a lot.
