    I hope we get pretty ruthless this summer, I hate to think of Carroll being our lead striker next season too, Voronin would be preferable ffs

    Laugh at Carroll if you want, and I think it's partly justified, but the fact is he's playing quite well tonight.

    Looks committed, holding up the ball well and very very unlucky not to be on the score sheet. Maxi also would not have scored his second if not for Carroll. He also won the ball to start the move for the opener.

    He's built like a tank mate, you'd need a good shoulder and a half to knock him off! Don't need to have a pop at Jones, other fans seem to be doing great at that job.

    u guys really need to start playing football properly. blackburn leaving loads of space in between midfield and defence ALL the time, but u guys need to pass it faster and get ur wingers into the middle more to exploit it. ur 442 is too flat, designed to get crosses into the box, except ur not doing that.

    I agree with this. He's also ran about the pitch more than usual and still looks to have some in the tank. Now If he can just get a goal...
