A four-year-old boy who was found injured in the street is believed to have been stabbed, police have said. The youngster, who has not been named, was rushed to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham after he was found with serious injuries in Frederick Street, Mansfield, at about 1.30pm yesterday. The boy's parents have been with him at the hospital, where he is conscious and stable. A 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and will be questioned by officers, a spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said. He added: "We believe this is an isolated incident and we do not think any other parties are involved. We will be interviewing the man in custody later today. "Specialist support is being provided for the boy and his family, while house-to-house inquiries and a full forensic examination of a property in Frederick Street will be carried out today."
This just beggers belief! What are the odds that it turns out that the culprit has a history of violent mental health issues, but the powers that be have deemed him ok to receive his care within the community?
These incidents will only stop when there is a deterrent in this country instead of the useless liberal soft tossers who courtesy of w*nk sentences keep themselves employed. For Murder etc if there is DNA proof positive (allegedly 99.9% sure) why not just shoot the b*stards in the head. Save taxpayers money and get rid of the scum in society.
Hanging mate. **** the sqeemish and the do gooders, be carful though you may get someone complaining , that this is a football forum, but my advice to him is **** off. this is serious **** which should be discussed.
Someone mention rep? I only need 13 for the next level if any lads can spare any rep change for a poor old brotha in need.....
Still impossible fella, even accounting for flying back in time, 3 hours on the ground in LA or San Fran cripples the deal
Ahh was forgetting the layover. The only way would be to take concord out of retirement or invent a star trek style matter transportation device
