Now theres a surprise, dosent obviously play for one of the FAs favourate four so had no chance with his appeal despite everyone in football agreeing Young dived. Dosent this process have a feeling of Deja Veux for the perceived little clubs.
I didnt say I was upset about it, just passing the comment that as he plays for a lesser club he had no chance with his appeal, like most of the other 16 or so clubs in the Premier League.
Well that's a big **** you we can do what ever we want, we own this game. Really starting to lose a bit of... Faith I suppose. Wonder if I might like rugby
and yet mario a man city player is allowed to kick alex song's knee thru to the back of his leg and no retrospective action to be taken. Needs a manager to walk his team off the pitch to force action to be taken. Desperate measures admittedly but its becoming a joke how the top 4 are protected
Disgraceful. There are a lot of fans of different teams all commenting on this travesty of justice. It's got to the point where I'm losing interest in football due to the blatant corruption and I'm fairly sure I'm not alone in that respect. We have the best infrastructure we have ever seen at Sunderland however I'm losing the desire to watch football due to the referee's and decisions by these apparently unaccountable people residing within the FA.
There seems to have been a pretty big backlash against this and the Balotelli decision in the media and rightly so, the fact that the ref at the Citeh game said that he saw the assault on Song and decided to take no action is beyond belief. I think one of two things will happen now: 1 - The FA will have a quiet word with refs and say to them to be overly harsh on all of the top 5/6 for the next couple of weeks so as to be seen to be completely "unbiased" when making crap decisions or 2 - They will pull the blinds down at Lancaster Gate (nice offices by the way, must cost a bit to maintain) and make like nothing has happened and that there isn't a problem and that everybody is wrong but them What they won't do is 3 - Admit that the system is flawed for dealing with mistakes that their refs will inevitably make and make changes to address this 4 - Take the pressure off refs at games by standing up to those managers who have called in to question their competence and integrity for so long that they are scared to make the big decisions against their teams 5 - Take steps to encourage a new generation of refs to come through the ranks in to an enviroment that helps them to develop in to world class refs My money is on them doing 2
I have signed up on the FA web site and complained, also told them a group of wealthy owners are lawyering up to have ago at them permitting a cheat charter to prevail.
