Boro, do they typify the emasculation of football?

Quite a lot I imagine since the Gameboy brand has been dead for a few years now :p

God knows why I put gameboy. I'm fully aware it's about 15 years out of date but oh well.

Haha i had to mention it, but in all seriousness I don't recall any kids playing any sort of handheld games when I've been, but then I suppose not many families sit in E2.

They've stopped me bringing my Atari 2600 to games now.

It's just something that annoys me I guess. I aren't some grumpy old man out of touch with technology but I don't see why some fans feel they need to give their son a game to play with when they've paid for a ticket for him. Is that kid ever really going to be a City fan if he only goes to football to do something else?

Cut the bottoms out of trouser pockets and let him amuse himself like we did in the old days.

I completely agree with you, I was just pointing out that I haven't personally noticed it although I can imagine it happening. Of course it might make sense to bring a DS or whatever along for halftime entertainment but if they're just playing it during the match it's a waste of money buying a ticket as you say, which is against all good Yorkshire principles.
