Well why is it one rule for some and another for others? They're all bans but ffs a bit of consistancy, biased ******s.

It's all a conspiracy, the FA are in alliance with the British government who hate Russia, therefore they hate Chelsea, meaning the FA do whatever they can to punish Chelsea <ok>

The FA don't seem to like cases involving elbows, because they can often be accidental when players raise their elbows to get leverage.

A punch is a punch however, so there's not a shred of doubt and they seem to prefer that.

<laugh> I'm sorry but utter bollocks, any **** can tell the difference between assault (Rooney/Balotelli) and an accidental elbow.

I'm in no way condoning Ivanovic's actions but the FA are a joke after letting the above videos slip without ban.

Rooney's and Balotelli's weren't given because they were punished/seen in game meaning that technically it was 'dealt with' and their rule is not to interfere with those kind of incidents. With Ivanovic's, it was missed in game so they've decided to punish.

Right decision. I see you didn't add the clip of Barton punching someone which he got banned for.

Well it obviously isn't bollocks, is it? Because none of them had bans.

We could have 20 videos of players getting elbowed in the face. 10 of them might be on purpose and 10 of them might be accidental, but the outcome of being belted in the face is still the same.

A punch, on the other hand, is a lot more clear-cut, especially when a player intentionally walks up to another player and punches him in the back.

I'm not saying that the other incidents shouldn't have had bans, but the FA really don't seem to like elbow-related incidents, presumably down to the fact that a number of them are accidents. Punches are far more clear-cut, however, so they will have a field day with it.

there wasnt even a fk given for balotellis leg-breaker on song, so no, thats not true. the ref missed it completely, so it should be at least a ban for the rest of the season.

A yellow card is a lot softer than a 3 game ban <laugh><laugh>

Actually I don't think that's true, my understanding is that the ref can actually admit the mistake in their report. I believe they changed it not long after they gave Ben Thatcher an 8 game ban for his elbow on Mendes which originally earnt him a booking. More than often though they will say that they took appropriate action at the time. It's a ****ed up system where they make the referee have to own up to his mistakes.

I know, but it's all part of 'backing the ref' that they go on about

He should deny it so that we can have him for the semi-final at least. The FA have done absolutely everything in their power this season to stop us, especially now that they've seen how vulnerable we are.

Can't Abramovich hire some Russian gangsters to kill everyone off at the FA? Apart from United, no one would miss them.

The Rooney incident should've been a ban, as should Lescott's and Balotelli's.

Ivanovic's was a right decision, albeit an extremely inconsistent one.
