Javier Hernandez is better than all Pools **** forwards. How many goals has ****e carrol have? how many has suraez have? Dont give me this **** about coming into a new league. Hernandez never even came from europe when he came here. He came straight from Mexico and yet has outscored your **** forward line. Your somehwere midtable in the league and we are fighting for the league. Your team is dire and a load of bollocks and not our rival anymore. So piss off and join your rivals Everton and Villa from now on <ok>

Liverpool = a ****e side and that is a a fact your dirty imbred scouse. you won your cup final and now piss off as you are not even considerd a rival now. Those days are long gone

KPR.... if rafael and Fabio are ****.....what does that make your team? they would walk into the Liverpool team if they were both injured never mind fully fit.

and 6 players? 3 at most my disabled ******.

Liverpool need 25 new players, shall we discuss that? Not that its up for debate.

Eh? Are people missing out on how much we have spunked down the loo on interest payments in the last five years. Had we not had to paid out so much we could have paid the wages we currently do with lower ticket prices anyway.

Whats that gotta do with anything? And step overs more often than not do not work/ Still dont know what its gotta with this though? Since Nani cut that stuff out of his game in the PL he is has been by far a better player.

The interest payments have been covered by the growth in commercial revenues, which have doubled in five years under the Glazers. Ticket prices have risen by less than wages over the period.

Yes, if the plc had shown any commercial nouse at all we could have kept ticket prices down, but they didn't - they failed to generate the sponsorship and media revenues to match the profile of the club, which is what made us such an attractive target for a leveraged buyout. Had the plc done their job properly, our revenues would still be greater than those of Real Madrid, and there would have been no revenue growth or value for the Glazers to find.

How many of those step overs led to a goal or assist for Nani? More often than not, by the time he'd finished with all his step overs, the opposition had time to better marshal their defence and mark the players in the middle to prevent the goal being scored. And Chile's defence is nowhere near as good as most PL ones - Nani should have scored or assisted a hat trick yesterday, if his tricks and flicks actually worked...

Doesnt alter the pointt hat 450 odd million went down the drain. Money that either could have gone on lower prices or re-invested in the team, stadium etc.

True, but consider the revenue growth the Glazers have brought:

    1999/2000
    Broadcasting revenue: £31m
    Commercial reveue: £40m
    Total: £71m

    2004/05:
    Broadcasting revenue: £48m
    Commercial revenue: £47m
    Total: £95m

    2009/10:
    Broadcasting revenue: £105m
    Commercial revenue: £84m
    Total: £189m

So in the last five years of ownership, the Plc managed about 33% growth in those two areas, over the last five years the Glazers have managed almost 100% growth. That's an extra £60m of non fan based revenue a season, which will make a huge difference in the long run, particularly with the growth rate continuing over the past six months.

Also swarbs commerical revenue for this annual year is set to be around 100-110m. So it has grown again and will continue to do so. However, we need to cut our wage bill big time.
