Realistic team next season

Can you honestly see us spending any sort of substantial money? There will defo be some sort of excuse. It will either be no value or that we have amazingly talented youngsters coming in and they are the new future. Even if Scholes, Hargo retire they will be replaced internally. A goal keeper will be our main signing. I can't see any change in the midfield.

 

Well what do you expect when the club has to pay the glazers interest bills? If either go to Italy I will LOL.

 

It does not stick though. I see no motivation for Ferguson to lie. He has money but the money he has would be perfect 5-10 years ago to sign top players but as these prices have increased Ferguson now has gone stubborn and is waiting for the prices to go down. This is a more logical explanation, he does not see the value in the market he still sees a 30m player of today as a 10m player of before and is reluctant to spend.

 

I believe we won't sign any decent known players for 2 reasons

1. Ferguson stubborn on value from previous markets
2. other teams are more attractive to the players

 

Honestly when we are still winning and while it costs 30 mill+ to sign a medioce player (see Andy Carroll) whats the point. I'm sure we will spend when we need to.

 

Why are other teams more attractive to the players?

 

Barca and Real are bigger teams better climet

Chelsea and City can throw 100s of millions at one player and give them contracts double we could

that is why they are more attractive

 

Well if it is a case of him being stubborn then he needs to adjust his thinking.

There only two clubs more attarctive than us. Barca and Real.

There are only another 2 that can compete with us apart from thse 2, city and chelsea.
