Well this day has been coming for some months now. Despite his ever growing confidence that with Martin O'Neill the gap might, just might be closed, it is finally a mathematical impossibility. My signature of 6 months has laid dormant until now, and finally it can come back to bite you my foolish friend. Howay Cest, get yourself on this thread and tell me all about how you will beat us next year and it was down to Bruce etc, I look forward to the banter <ok> <laugh>

Not worth the bother, however, when he is on form ,,,,you lot just vanish. and maybe just maybe he has family things , which are more important. try the other thread" wums and invisibles", as you are on that thread.

Oh dear. Shouldn't you be enjoying your good fortune rather than acting so ob-Cest?
Most pundits also had you down for a relegation battle at the start of the season? Funny game Footy.

Don't want to burst your bubble about Cest leaving, running away or being frightened but the truth is, assuming you can take the truth, your efforts are wasted.

Cest is away in Blackpool, it's Easter and he is having a week away with his little girl, I'm sure she is seven, and will no doubt be enjoying every single moment.

I have to ask, what is the saddest, Cest saying, months ago on an internet forum that Sunderland would finish above Newcastle or someone being so upset and obsessed with that throw away comment that they have kept it just in case.

I have read a number of posts from Cest over the past weeks saying well done Newcastle, did anyone keep those.

To be fair, cest has been very complimentary recently but it is funny to laugh at previous comments made by pundits and mackems alike. It's great proving people wrong.

However, instead of mocking on here, I say we just let the football do the talking. I'm sure we'll be the ones laughing when it comes to watching NUFC on foreign soil again next season. (fingers crossed)

    yet another idiotic wum...

I think they should just get tha fact that none of us really give a s**t about their wumming, and that most of us agree that they have had a tremendous season and well done to them.

Come on now Mackems, you reap what you sow. If Cest wants to play the big shot and make the comment, when it comes back to bite he just has to enjoy the teethy feel. Here some gnashers for what's ahead.

This made me chuckle, it's amazing how little things can make you smile when you're in the top 6 :)

And lots of mags including yourself most likely, wasn't there talk of a protest at the start of the season, how you needed to get Fat Mike out to save the club, quiet on that front now it seems. I am sure I could trall through loads of old posts to back that up but I really don't care as I support Sunderland and we are having a fantastic season and are all looking forward to MON building his own team. So well done Newcastle and we hope to give you a better run for your money next season as I am sure we will.

To be honest, no one has complained all season except regarding the name change. We went 11 matches unbeaten at the start.

I never thought we'd get Europe, but certainly didn't think we would get relegated and from beating you at the start and how far ahead we were, I was always confident of finishing ahead.
