I agree with your points that their dominance may come to an end sooner than they think. There is a reason for that and his initials are Wayne Rooney.
There used to be a time when no player was bigger than Manchester United. Now there is,Wayne Rooney.Roy Keane did in 2005 what Rooney did and was kicked out.Mark Hughes,Andrei Kanchelskis and Paul Ince in 1995 grew complacent and were sent packing and were replaced with young hungry players. How about Steve Bruce and Bryan Robson at 34 in the mid 90s being moved on.Then you didn't have 36 and 37 year olds in their team.
Back to Rooney,He squeezed Ferguson and Uniteds tits until they turned purple, and even though most Man United fans won't admit that, because they are both delusional and stupid.
Fernando Torres tried it on and was not offered a pay-rise,He was not begged to stay,he was sold when the correct offer came in.So that proves no player is bigger than Liverpool, and that served a warning to the others. However Wayne Rooney is now bigger than Manchester United. As for some of Rooneys misdemeanours off the pitch...Lee Sharpe did less and got kicked out.

I agree, Rooney bullied the bully.
Either Ferguson is going soft,or someone went over his head to pacify Rooney. This does as you said send out a bad message. The only way Man United can now send out a clear message that no player is bigger than the club is to sell Rooney. If they don't,and Rooney continues to play as poorly as he has done since March 2010.Then they will be the biggest laughing stock in Europe...so I do hope they don't sell him.

how man utd conduct themselves is down to them, but people will be looking on.as i said in previous posts players who sign for liverpool want to play for liverpool, because it is liverpool they are signing for a team with tradition a team known around the world,we have the best fans in the world, yea ok if we think something is not quite right we will voice our opinions(ie hodgeson),but again no player no manager no person is bigger than lfc and with the torres situation that has made it clear, but i wish we had done summit about alonso leaving.who would you prefer alonso or rafa? alonso for me.
we have suarez, gonna be better than cristiano ronaldo.fact.

Suarez is a gem. He's settled in so quickly Torres hasn't been missed. The job now is to find the players to get the best out of Andy Carroll. We don't need to build a team around Suarez,Liverpool just need to let him do what he likes. The lad is a bundle of energy.Personally I would call him Wayne Rooney with skill.
I do agree if it was a choice between Alonso and Rafa going with Kenny coming in as Rafa's replacement, then for me it would be keeping Alonso and Rafa being replaced by Kenny.
I don't believe that it will take all that long to get back to the 2009 level with good management.Kenny is a good manager. He knows how to win the premiership,he's done it.He knows what it takes. Some people might suggest that was back in 1995,so what.?Very little has changed. Its all about signing for positions, and that is Kenny's trademark.
Kenny identifies weaknesses and addresses them, every signing he makes has a purpose. He signed Andy Carroll for the simple reason, that he's brutally strong,he's good in the air and he's got a rocket launcher of a left foot.He knew exactly what he was signing. He was signing potential to some degree as he's unproven. But Kenny needs wingers to utilise him.
I'm 100% convinced with additions in the summer,Suarez and Carroll are both going to light up the premiership and do serious damage.FSG are in it for the long-term,but they want success as quickly as possible.

the deluded wums who come on here sprouting off about the money we paid for carroll will next season be eating there words, with carroll and suarez it will be really exciting, and again carroll wanted to come to liverpool.
you cant compare suarez and rooney, that is so rude, surarez aint fat suarez smiles and as yet suarez dosent sulk.all in all surarez is much better.
hopefully we will get charlie adam in the summer another player who wants to join.
kenny knows what he is doing and what he wants he has been in football far to long not to no how to get liverpool back to where they belong, its a bluddy shame he never got appointed b4 hodgeson, but i bet everybody will now be judging him in our next game against you no who.

Making bold predictions like crazyhorse and KPR are doing is a bit shortsighted. Its just another way of saying next year is our year to win the premiership and seeing as you have been saying that for 20 years nobody is going to take you that seriously.

Oh and stop ejaculating over 'kenny'. He is a good manager but you are way overdoing it.

I would say our dominance has already ended. Since the 01/02 season we have only won four out of the nine PLs and only one FA Cup. Compare that to 1992-2001 when we won seven out of nine including two doubles and the treble, and it's clear we are no longer out there on our own.

Like you say, I doubt anyone will ever dominate football again like Liverpool did from 1975 to 1984 and we did from 1992 to 2001. But with the money and prestige that comes from repeated Champions League appearances, I think it's harder than ever for someone to break into the top four / five from lower down.

Liverpool's history, reputation and proposed business model makes them the most likely candidates, but it will still be a struggle. Arsenal and United are already where Liverpool aspire to be, according to your new owner, and City and Chelsea have shown they're willing to spend whatever it takes to stay at the top. And I doubt we're going to fall from grace quite like you guys did in 1990 - Graeme Souness has retired from management now hasn't he? :)

P.S. Roy Keane did exactly what Rooney did in 1999 - turned down a new £40k a week contract and was rumoured to be moving to Italy, and criticised the club, the fans and the players. He still got the £50k a week contract he wanted and won us another three PL titles after that so don't read too much into the Rooney situation. And didn't Gerrard do exactly the same thing in July 2005 - rejected a club record £100k a week offer causing Parry to say he was leaving, and then miraculously signed on the dotted line for £115,000 days later? Footballers play all sorts of silly games when they're fishing for a new contract, and Rooney was out of form even before the negotiations started.

Torres was a very different kettle of fish - he just wanted to leave, nothing to do with his contract. He didn't want higher wages, he just wanted to be a little primadonna...and look where it got him <ok>

I do like the fact that Suarez is the new messiah after playing five games and scoring two goals! He may well turn out to be the greatest Liverpool player of all time...but it's a bit optimistic to predict that at this stage!!

I believe that we'll have a better start next season and that we'll improve on our league position. We're improving our squad and when you improve your squad it makes sense to imagine that the league position will get better. Do I think we'll win the league next year? No. Chelsea are spending again, Man City are spending again and Man Utd will always be up there while Fergie is in charge.

In fact - I'll put my neck out and say that Man Utd will get 20 next season based on Arsenal having their spring collapse again while Man City & Chelsea will say that their new managers & players will take time to gel.

I can't comment on cup games as it's the luck of the draw. We could draw Man Utd at OT in the 3rd round of the FA cup next year and go out on pens, we could get a bad draw in the League cup and go out early (Although I think we'll take it more seriously next year) and we may not be in europe at all - on the other hand we may get home games against lower league teams right up until the semi final and we smash our way to wembley.

If we look at the facts, it's easy to be positive for next season based on what we're now doing this season

Winning Games, Attacking football, Negative Net Spend, Making wholesale squad improvements

All in all Liverpool fans have to remember not to get ahead of themselves and remind each other that Rome wasn't built in a day - but also to remember that John W. Henry has a reputation for winning things and he wont rest until their is fresh silverware in the Liverpool trophy cabinet

Why are you only commenting on part of a sentance? I also put in brackets "Although I think we'll take it more seriously next year". This imply's that I do not think we took the game against Northampton Town seriously this year. This is proven by the starting 11 we played against Northampton - We haven't played it since. If we'd have taken the game as seriously as (in my opinion) should have then we'd have had a lot more regular players starting
