Absolutely bizarre how often you've hit the woodwork this season. Must be some sort of record, didn't you hit it 2 or 3 times at the weekend as well? must be incredibly infuriating. Do you think it is down to bad luck or poor finishing on the most part?
Probably about 100. To be honest, I think it's a mixture of both. You can put some of it down to bad luck but at the end of day, hitting the post is a shot off target. Our strikers haven't been good enough.
Poor finishing I'd say, bad luck at first but now it's just poor. But yes, it must be a record and it's so god damn frustrating!
This ^^ Simple as that, not putting the ball in the back of the net. Our confidence in front of goal has been pretty bad all season. The one game where we thrashed a team 3 goals were OG's ffs!!!
It was on the Sky Sports stat page recently that Suarez has equalled the record for a player hitting the post in a single season with seven. So he's only one more away from breaking his first record in English football
Well Ronaldo also hit the post seven times in 06/07, and we all know what happened for him next season. It's a good straw to clutch at if nothing else
I wonder how many shots we have had GO IN off the post this season? I can recall none? Bloody posts grrr!
