Nani feels he is still adjusting to Premier League football and battling against his inclination to perform tricks. From what I've seen, Nani has shown some much-improved form this season to help us.

Let's think straight for a moment, Nani will only remain with us if we have the right set of players, we then can think of competing with the likes of Barcelona in Europe. But, if we continue to field him alongside Gibson, he will definitely leave.

For me the jury is still out on Nani. Sure, he's put together a string of good performances this season, but prior to this season we rarely saw what he was capable of. I attribute this to one thing : Antonio Valencias injury.

Think about it, whenever Nani has been allowed to play on the right since Valencias visit to the medical room, he has shone. When he was on the left, I think his performances left alot to be desired to be perfectly frank.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that at the moment I'll be looking for Valencias name on the team sheet before Nani's. He's no trickster, but my word, he gets the job done. More often than Nani one feels.

I dont think the jury is out anymore.

Hes shown he can destroy any defence in the PL and hes shown he is a top top class player.

Hes better than valencia imo but thats not to say valencia isnt a quality player and I dont think theres a better winger in the league or europe who I would rather have in the team.

I'd have Ronaldo back any day of the week. I miss him.

In regards to Nani.. We all know what he is capable of. But I fear that this form is only a temporary thing. Yes, Valencia is unspectacular in his play... but he's solid as ****, and can get past players and put in a mean cross. None of that tomfoolery you get from Nani that sometimes costs United possession of the ball.

Its also won us several games this season aswell. Its part of the package you get with players of this type. Ronaldo was the same in many ways. Sometimes he would do to much and sometimes it was a moment of sheer brilliance.

Aye, all I'm saying is though is that seeing Nani's name on the teamsheet doesn't provide me with as much confidence as he does in others. I'd say I view him as slightly overrated.

    Muster shut it

Nani has performed for over 18 months now for club and country. I call that form and he has is the premier league leading assiter. Nani has doubled Valencias stats from last season. I know its premature but Valencia has lost his crossing ability which is worrying. I watched him for Ecuador and he did not look great and looked rather awful. Nani on the other hand was class against Chille and was linking play and opening spaces and ghosting past players. Nani has been our best attacker this season and imho valancia is rather over rated as his stats are no better than nzogbias who I rater higher than Valencia. Valencia is a good squad player but never should be 1st choice and ahead of nani is a joke. Nani is one of portugals leading men and you want to drop him for Valencia? Nani scores more and assists more than Valencia. It is a no brainer. The myth about his poor form was simple. Even Nani stated it, he has improved as he has got games. If it was Nani who was injured and Valencia was not injured we would not be 1st.

    **** off Nohlman you pleb.

You're quite welcome to say that you think Nani is a better player than Valencia, but to call Valencia a squad player when his contributions have far exceeded the requirements for a squad player is ****ing thick. Give an opinion when it is not blinded by your clear homoerotic preference for Nani.

Valencia is not good enough im my opinion

he has no left foot and can not shoot. His play is so one dimensional as well and he is not anything special. If these are the player who we consider talented then we should pack it in now. Valencia is a good player but to even compare him to Nani is embarrassing. The only reason you feel relaxed about Valencia Muster is because you know he will do the same thing over and over again. He is not talented and is a big like Fletcher. He rely on hard work rather than ability and lacks technical skill. He can't dribble and he can only shift the ball. But he might have lost pace which then dents him even more. I feel he could slip down the pecking order very soon. For me it is Nani on the right and Park on the left. Valencia can warm the bench.

Have you not watched us this season? Nani looks class above Valencia will ever be on the right and Park was in great form on the left. Valencia has just come back from a major injury and his crossing has been pants. It was so bad he had to move to the left so that Nani could go back on the right against Bolton.

You call me a think and then want to see a player who has just suffered a major injury to play before one of our best players this season <doh> you are the dumb one and Valencia is not even half the player he was last season. He will have to have a good pre season and starting from the bench is the best option for him. Its the safest option as well.

Like I said... you're an idiot. You've just confirmed it once again. A player needs a period of time to retain match fitness after a long spell on the side-lines, this is what Valencia is doing now. <doh>

Valencia just does not have that wow factor or second part to his game. He is reliably good but is that enough? can he progress and if so where? with Nani you get quality and you can see progress can be made in many areas with Valencia hes hit his limit. he is 26 soon and that is not young. He should have already been scoring 10 plus goals a season and assisting atleast 15-20 a seaon like Nani does.
