Whoever's the main scout at Newcastle for strikers, we need that man at Arsenal! We've been struggling to buy a striker who can deliver, and in the space of a season they have bought 2 strikers who are top top quality!

  2. As often offered by the ' official ' channels Mr 87, the players who we were looking for were never available. But I would just say that we already have a striker who can deliver. We just need a backup for him ;)

    Wenger knows his strikers.
Anelka, Wiltord, Thierry Henry, Adebayor & Van Persie prove that.

Park and Chamakh hav'nt done it but Podolski will be a revelation(should we get him)

    Why not
He can score goals and is good in the air
He's not that good technically but maybe AW can instill that in him

Newcastle's scout is Alan Carr's dad.

Don't think he'd fit in with our style at all and he's far too much of a thug.

Plus he's 30 so it wouldn't be much of a worthwhile signing as there's not much chance he's going to improve leaps and bounds with his technical ability.

True, I mean he wouldn't be a bad signing but he'd just be a Cup player especially if we got Podolski

Thinking about Andy Carroll's failure to recreate his form at Liverpool makes me wonder whether whatever system thay play at Newcastle sets these guys up for success. Seems hard to believe that they have unearthed 3 gens in a row, particularly as the first one appears to be fake.
