havin a mare is King..sleeping again......we knew it would happen eventually and i think the second half of this season is when it started happening.
So guys - how was the first half for you? For our part I think most of us will feel a bit hard done by. If it's the same pattern in the 2nd half I fancy Norwich to take 3 points as your defence do not seem to know each other.
have some faith in the old kiwi! im hoping he handles holt better then king has and king decides to wake up as this game is very open and each time norwich get a setpeice near our box, im bricking it!!
Shambles mostly on our part, our defence is having a mare but hopefully the experience of nelsen will help. Credit to your side for being so attacking as we have gone from one extreme to the other, dirty negative sunderland to norwich, who want to play the game and win.
We kept the lions share of the possession but failed to create much with it. That's been the story of a lot of our games recently. Hoping we'll see an improvement second half. We really need a win today.
The front pairing of Saha and Defoe just has no balance, for me. There's nobody linking things up, no communication and no balance. The whole side looks disjointed, with a number of players appearing to be tired, sluggish and off the pace. Too many games for some, not enough for others.
Just to rub it in: MOTD's Steve Bower at Goodison Park: HALF-TIME - Everton 0-0 Sunderland "Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar has been the brightest spark in a game which is yet to really get off the ground. Pienaar had the Toffees' best chance too, but he lifted it over the bar."
Must admit I am pleasantly surprised to us attacking so much and the difference is we normally only play with 1 up front, today (finally) we have two and they are both a handful on their day
Both hands shirt pulling too. If you showed this and the Young incident to 100 people and asked them to say which one was a pen, 100 would have chosen the one today...
