Finished my first season as city, got promoted and managed to sell ghilas for £1m to everton lets hope we manage to do that deal in summer, idiots. Anyone else had mad offers for ****e players?
In my first season I've sold Kilbane for £30k. Absurd. I've somehow sold players to the value of £7.5m - although I did make a fair few changes - 10 in and 9 out.
I sold devitt to aresenal for 35m but there may have been a bit of cheating going on there so i decided to restart it and now managing dorchester in league 2 lol
I have 2 games going one where I have cheated and sold danny east to man city for 60mil and a normal one the normal on is much more fun but a lot harder ha
I find the non cheating is more entertaining i tried the lower league games b4 on fm11 and sold one or 2 players i didnt use for stupid amounts but there no point as no one will come play for you anyway haha i just have it on in back ground while i play cod or im watching crap tv lol
I get bored instantly if I cheat like that - I don't think I've done it since the days of Championship Manager 03/04
I play him up front with Fryatt sitting deep. Get goals a plenty. Simpson seems to pull defenses about more than fryatt.
Fryatt does absolutely **** all for me - I sold him on my current save for £2.4m, along with McLean for £1.5m, then brought in Scannell for £2.4m and Samaras for £650k. Bearing in mind I started this save when I was pissed off at our lack of goalscorers
The thing with Fryatt is that he is only suited to a couple of styles. Either big man up top with him or play him slightly deeper with a player like simpson slightly ahead of him. Any other style and he does **** all. I thought I would try to style we are playing in real life on one save and got relegated. Switched to another save with 4-4-2 and won the league.
Bit of a difference there! I'm 3rd but the main reason I'm doing so well is goals from corners. I haven't even made a tactic.. but Hobbs is my top scorer in the league with 10 with Chester also on 5.
I used Fryatt as lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 and he was top scorer by a country mile on 30 something goals until he got injured 2/3rds into the season before Billy Sharp overtook him right at the end. Finished 2nd due to goal difference was gutted, if Fryatt hadn't got injured I'd easily have won the league. Sold him in the next transfer window for about 2.5 million. In 3rd season now and only original city players in my squad are Hobbs and Cairney who are both still starting 11.
I got victor anichabe on loan (started and new season on the update) played him with fryatt/king, simpson on AM(R) and Brady AM(L) in a 4-2-2-2 and they blasted a lot between them a lot of assists from brady and simpson still got simspson in the prem and got a lot of youngters on cheap from selling ghilas, cullen etc
5 games in with the update got a couple of players in will find out names later and post them but i have a 4-2-3-1 Dele up front as mclean and fryatt injured he got 6 goals in 2 league games and 2 in 1 cup game and im second with 3 wins and a draw bloody southampton!
Sold Ghilas to Genoa for 500k. One season later he went to Man Utd for 1.4 million and got 30 goals in the prem.
i cant get rid of the twat he refuses to leave and i cant call him back from his loan! got rid of gulasci tho
