When you change your username all previous posts change to the new one. Quotes, however retain the original script.

It's a bunch of bullshit saint and you know it! <laugh>

Soooo anyone else not excited about the game tomorrow? I think resting players will be on the mind since, in a European-less campaign, our players can't handle 3 games in a week. I think Blackburn will be on us like flies to ****.

    Me? Bullshit? How dare you?!
Anyway, I'm always up for the next game-can't help it, I just love football.
Imo we've still got something to fight for in the league. Since we came out of the second division in '62 we've never finished lower than 8th.

    Only kidding Saint.

I am trying to get excited by the league games but I just feel it is the same record being played and the change just isn't happening. Ya, I came across that stat the other day which is pretty remarkable and something we don't want to break but in the league, we just seem stumped as to what to do.

Btw, how early are the games today? Check on BBC and they already have live text up? **** I am at work!

I knew you were kidding- just playing along.
Games start at 3pm our time, about 10am for you? then a 5.30 and 8pm I think.

What is the bank holiday? just banks said **** it national holiday? sweet deal.

Nice, so if work becomes a bit dull ( doubt it) then I might try to switch it on firstrowsports. If not live text will do although they are always way behind the play and the games.

Ahh I see the one catch in there for companies. Work and get extra pay or take the day off. Tough one sometimes that!

In the '70s, when unions were strong, some workers would get say, double time(pay) and maybe a day in lieu as well for working them. Usually in industries that couldn't afford to stop production.

    I don't care....

    the thing is:

    1. city v arsenal. didn't give a damn but could see city's legs in midifled are gone totally. utd have the league won so was happy arsenal won.

    2. Why was i up for arsenal why? simple, tottenham get put i nthier place and arsenal will keep wenger and will keep declining.

    3. if tottenham or newcastle take 4th it'll be quite funny cos i think happy harrys boasting a while back gets shown up. was talking winning the league, then third now it'll be 4th... and and now i think 5th could be thier lot. adebayor kept them up there but they've also run out of steam.

    4. utd have shown what honest effort can do. I have to respect them for sticking to thier guns and showing real heart.... why should i be a little hater when i can see plain as day they do deserve their success?

I don't think that bringing Scholes out of retirement shows the club is weak financially.

Ferguson hasn't had much luck bringing in centre mids over recent years - Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson, Veron, Anderson for example. In January the proven option, Sneider, would have come at a huge cost. Scholes was still on the scene, fit from his coaching, and obviously capable. I think Ferguson assessed his squad and came to the decision that it could challenge without an expensive addition.

When you look at it objectively - either spend £30m and pay £120,000k a week to a newcomer who might not settle or fit in- or bring back a club legend who can slot in almost immediately- it makes sense.
