I'll predict what I think is going to happen - can't be right all the time! Still top though

Well that's my point, you're top from predicting wins. It's good to know you have confidence in Wenger and our players <ok>

Actually I think I am the only person who has predicted losses correctly - both against City and Utd. It's the only reason I am ahead of you, and the reason I am top.

I am though beginning to get more positive about the team. We still have issues, but there does seem to be some strength developing in certain players which is helping the team. We just need to do it every game now. Losses are fine if we give it everything, so hopefully we won't be less up for games than our opponents again this season.

I was delighted to see Arteta have a go from distance yesterday - we need to do more of that. Less trying to pass it into the net and more having a go from distance is a sign of confidence.

One thing is for sure - if I am getting more positive it is something to believe, because I don't get carried away.

'because I don't get carried away. ' <laugh>.
You my friend are not afraid to state what you see.
Many are just blind supporters- which is fine. However if we are to move onwards and upwards YES! YES! YES! - then we have to analyse our weaknesses and address them. Ongoing improvement is the way forward - not picking our favourite if his form has gone.....

Poodles plus a top signing may be all we need - assuming we wont lose RVP and be decimated by injuries next year.

<laugh> I laughed at that too. Jayram mate, you have been one of the worst at getting carried away with the doom and gloom this season. When in fact the 'blind supporters' were actually saying that we were never that far off - as has been demonstrated <ok>

My memory is a little hazy.......

But I'm pretty sure back around September Jayram predicted that we'd be in a relegation battle right now <whistle>

Yes your memory is a little hazy <ok>

Not that one again - we are miles away as is demonstrated by the league table - but I guess you really are blind to reality <ok>

Definitely improving though.

Yes, because last time I looked we were 3rd, which is 'miles away' from challenging for a top 4 spot . . .

Wasn't sure whether you had defined what you meant by 'not far off' yet... if you are settling on 'not far off top 4' then we are in complete agreement. I however have higher expectations. 'Not far off' - without a qualifying criteria - means many things to many people. To me it means winning titles. On that basis we are a long long way off, as the table shows.

mine's not

I've still got your 'we'll end up mid table' quote <ok>

Well, after you 'accidentally' deleted my previous account, all we can go on is your memory and we'd have to trust you not to alter comments. You've already proven to be wholly untrustworthy on that score so that's a non starter. I did refer to our form early season as mid table form and even relegation form - which it was. Back to commenting on reality at the time. I find it more useful to comment on reality, as opposed to burying my head in the sand for years and then taking it out at the first sign of real improvement to claim 'I told you were not far off................' ...................... '4th place'

<laugh> Unfortunately for you, I saved your 'We'll end up mid table' quote long before your account went into meltdown, because I knew it would come back and bite you on your Arsenal.

Yes, but we'd have to trust you haven't altered it. That is impossible because you are a proven liar. As I said I talked about our form at the time.

going for my usual optimistic scoreline.

Wolves 0 - 4 Arsenal
RVP 2
Vermaelen
Walcott
